Incredible soundscapes, and a beautiful performance with them. Nightsky and a Prophet, are two things are looking to invest in. First time I have seen them together. Thank you for sharing.
The Nightsky must be specifically adding quite a bit of "choir element" to the sound. I have a Prophet 5 and couldn't ever really get a good synth choir sound like that. So it's either the Nightsky or I need to keep working with my Prophet! Either way, very nice production here. Gorgeous atmospheres.

Great video, very nice soundscapes! May I ask you if you miss the stereo output on the Prophet 5? I'm interested to purchase my first analog poly synth and I'm quite undecided between the Prophet 6 and The Prophet 5/10. They both sound great. Also the UDO Super 6 is really excellent...
Those plastic slippers! Where I come from only very questionable people from bad neighborhoods wear them. Throw them away! 😉 But seriously: nice video. I enjoyed it very much. The Strymon really adds to the pads. I wonder though how good one can make the pads sound with a less "invasive" stomp box. With, say, just some reverb or a mild phaser (Smal Stone?). Because if I'm not mistaken then the Strymon ads a little bit of synthesizer itself. Makes me wonder sometimes which is the more prevalent synth: the Strymon or the synth one's playing.
😄I will think about the slippers... I did not use the shimmer section of the nightsky to prevent reverb synthesis overload. It also sounds good with a less massive reverb - the morphing actually fades from low to high fx intensity.
I'm looking to get a good effects pedal for my Prophet. The Night Sky has always sounded lovely to me in demos. What do you think between Night Sky and others like Eventide Space or whatever else? I just want a companion for my Prophet 5's very mono output to make soundscapes and whatnot. (There are so many options)
I chose nightsky because of the sound design possibilities, midi implementation and the morphing. If you do not need this I guess there are cheaper alternatives, but I cannot say anything about tc hall of fame and similar pedals in that price range...
Gorgeous sounds! I wonder how the upcoming Behringer Pro 800 will stack up against this. I'm hoping that that it will be somehow comparable since that Prophet 5 module is a little out of my price range.
first thing i notice right of the bat is how little bottom end this smd prophet has , really playing the vintage one is so much a difference , i owned p5 for 35 years i understand the prices are ridiculous and so is maintenance , but i rather own the original or none
Very nice! Any recommendations on what to get to create these. kiinds. of popular dawless setups. I got several. keyboards, no outboard fx's or mixer yet (plan to get. an analog desk soon) but it can be a bit overwhelming, where to start, which fx (multi fx - reverb/delay) would be a good choice, perhaps an all rounder?
Sorry for the late reply - if you want a quick answer you should ask easier questions :) My channel is a documentation of my search for interesting combinations of gear, I do not think there is an optimal setup neither for pros nor for beginners. It's not wrong to start with a small analog mixer and a multi-fx device, integrated effects in cheap mixers are usually not helpful ...
@@PeteMidi Well that is half the fun...answering hard questions on your own video...short boring questions never gets much attention anyway ;) Appreciate. the answer...probably will just start with a mixer or maybe an ADA8000 and use the. DAW as a. sequencer for now haha...then maybe get a hardware seq down the road...
