Cheers Ben, thought about tinting/adding colour to the edge before laying but hoping for that nice pop of contrast between the light concrete and deep green lawn
Mate... Your editing skills are on point here.. 👌 I’ve been thinking about doing this exact process to my front lawn, can I ask how long this has taken??
The sections that I had plugged by about mid-late Nov are pretty much covered. The areas that I got to doing late Dec slightly missed the seasonal boat so will have to nurse and maintain them 'till we kick off again in spring. You going to get some lawn content out there man? Any other scotties lurking about?
@@lawndreams5952 yeh, a lot of work ahead mate. Cutting out weeded crap clay out the back to 100mm depth then get sandy loam in, lay some turf and done, should grow in well come spring.
@@lawndreams5952 good old gum tree hey! I'm picking up a rover 45 17" from FB market place to fix up. Prob won't go full resto prob just mechanical and strengthen rails.
@@lawndreams5952 I found a hoe that looks like yours on gum tree asking 150. I think I will offer 100 cos it looks like its worth that much. My little patch is going to need some good soaking though as it is highly compacted. But when you get a couple weeks of solid rain you are able to dig it without too much struggle. I wanna try do what old mate from the aussie lawn has done and get my hands on some samples or just a few metres of sir grange and re grow my front patch which is about 1/10th the size of your front patch lol. Just gotta start with getting the soil right first.
Nice mate! The tillers pop up a bit if you keep your eyes out for them. You thinking you might be able to get your soil right over winter in readiness for lawn harvest in spring?
