You. Are. Awesome! Thanks for the secret word. I just saw on Supernatural where Death scraped her scythe along the wall and it sparked. I was thinking that would be awesome to do the next time I'm the Grim Reaper, but didn't know how to do it... Until now. Thanks so much!
Love this! I gotta make one! Reminds me of the glove tutorial you made. I like this one better though since it's easier to use a long shovel to make sparks then bending over and using your hands. This is awesome! As always, I thank you!!! P.S., I see lots of different types of resins and epoxies out there. Can you do a video on these so I know which ones to use for different applications? Thanks Allen! 🤘🏻💀
I know this word! We call them ferro blocks. We mount them under rear bumpers on lowered vehicles so when you dump your air you get a huge spark shower!
just a fun thought. For Christmas Eve or New Years Eve. all outtakes caused if you will by your dogs... just that Nothing else just the outtakes caused by your dogs.. a great way to end the year.
Will this ferrocerium rod spark on a theater stage floor? Or does it need concrete or asphalt to spark? I enjoy all your videos and always stumble upon something to learn while I am looking for something else! Thanks for clear, easy to understand videos that we can almost all do!
I have tried a vise before, not flexible enough when it comes to my shop and counter space. it would have helped here but then been in the way 98% of the time. Ive given about three of them away lol.
Hey there! Great video was just wondering where you can buy these from, I was browsing amazon and most are listed as being Ferrocerium but I check the specifications and it says Magnesium, is there a difference?
I bought a large blowmold scythe to make spark for a scarecrow costume I'm doing for my haunt this year, and I was wondering what was the best way to go about making it more durable? Im debating between resin filling or foam filling it
So I've been commissioned to make a scythe that has a butt end that can spark. My issue is that I'll have to drill into the end and adhere with 5 minute epoxy. This makes it difficult to replace the ferrocerium. Any guess on how long this stuff lasts for before it wears down and needs replacing?
I put ferro rods on a long jester cepter. Im exceptionally short, so its pretty cool. Anyways, my ferro rods wore down pretty quickly. I have to replace them once every two weeks or so during the season. What am i doing wrong??
How can I make a fake loud popping candle prod as a scare tool that obviously doesn’t actually shock people but it looks and sounds like it so please please help me out
