No SSD, awesome! I’ve found that one of the big advantages of using native app is the Enhanced Stabilization. For some reason Apple seem to not allow third party developers access to this. It would be a game changer to have access to 4K 60 ProRes Log w/o an SSD and with Enhanced Stabilization, but just my opinion. 😊

I've got to agree with this. Even BlackMagic App has to have 3 different stabilisation but sti doesn't feel 'stabilised' similar to native app.

Note: prores 422 proxy is worst than h.265 so use h.265 and save space. Or choose 422 lt

Would be cool if the moment app offered 2x zoom for the 24mm camera like the native app does… Just throwing that out there.

This is great, but even the BMC app can do that. Question is - can the Moment app record on an external device if attached? BMC allows for it.

They should let me do it from the regular camera app. I have a 15 pro 1 TB. I don’t need an external SSD

Guys what settings do you use to record in darker environments while using apple log ?

If shooting in 24fps change your shutter speed to 1/48, this will let more light hit the sensor while keeping your ISO as low as you can. Boost up ISO as much as needed but just note, the higher the iso the grainier the image will get!

@@moment yes that’s what I notice that it gets very grainy and unusable if it’s too dark outside

Is there a workaround for iPhone 14 Pro getting 4K 60 Log or 4K 60 10bit HDR ProRes on the Moment App? BeastCam bypasses Apple's limitation and lets you record 4K 60 10bit w/o HDR.

Unfortunately no work around for that at the time. But that's interesting, it allows 4k 60 10 bit log on the 14 pro?

There is bloody some problem with this aap … I paid for the additional features and now every time I take a photo it’s clicks 3 photos …. One full dark one full of brightness and one blur …… none of them is usable

It sounds like you have bracketing turned on by accident. You can turn it off under the "Exposure and Focus" section in settings.

Are those blackmagic Cameras beast??? I always hear about Nikon, Canon & Sony what does Blackmagic focus on more video or photos?

@@SalsHQhe is talking about the BMC camera app which allows you to record 4k 60 in ProRes log and it’s free. Blackmagic in general it’s a video centric company produces great manual cameras and softwares for video editing

I can record log in the main camera internally on my 15 pro max 1tb, no need for any third party app
