Surf City is fabulous so fab that we purchased a home there with a great ocean view and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The best view is at the top of the bridge , when you get there its like pretty color houses with the ocean in the background. Home ownership on an island can be expensive, maintaining can get costly, all the insurance costs especially flood insurance is costly. Yet any expense is worth it. Most of our neighbors either live there full time or do not rent their homes out, so that is also really nice, we all watch out for each other and and each others homes. East Coast sports you said was a big box, lol, it is a large store but it is not a chain. It is a great place to live or visit .

We said east coast sports is the closest thing we have to a big box store on the island but obviously it’s just a big , locally owned, store that carries a lot of great products. Funny how you spoke about the people. Being so nice. I live in wisconsin and your from New York. That was my next question is how much of a difference the people are. I vacationed in north myrtle beach last year and just was blessed by everybody in that area.
Haha people here are great. It’s a melting pot and people from all over the place.. what I tell people is that as long as you don’t bring your politics and driving habits with you, you’ll be welcomed with open arms haha
