It's kind of funny how the in-betweens pretty accurately represents how it happens in the books. Outside of one character the process was generally described as awkward to disturbing
@@timwoods2852 No. As long as you can make contact with the DNA you're good. I don't think that ever actually comes up, but they do get dinosaurs at one point through much more convoluted means in Megamorphs 2 (Widely regarded as one of the worst books in the series). Other rules since there are surprisingly few people aware of the actual contents of the books: While in non native form you have access to telepathic speech, and if you remain in a morph for more than two hours the transformation is permanent and you lose your powers. Except for the Telepathic speech, which stays. Also, the brains of any animal you transform into are fully functional and the Animorphs must fight for control of their bodies for as long as they are morphed, which is especially difficult with eusocial insects. I don't know how this applies to plant morphs as they never actually tried to do any non-animal morphs.
The best part of the animorph videos is when someone sees a character mid transformation and says "I can clearly tell what this is supposed to be, but it looks close enough to where I can make it become this completely different thing."
What if you do animorphs like last time, but backwards? Like going from animal to character! Setting it to movie and typing what character you want it to turn into, and going from there.
There are even more professional artists who are collaborativly animating animorphs using gartic telephone's cooperative online animation software. This is video number two if you didn't already know.
I was okay with Ross defending himself against his chat accusing him of ruining three animations (they’re crazy, I loved the elephant), but the act that he clearly avoided Telepurte becoming some sort of cat and going for a monkey really doesn’t connect with me.
I know, especially since he made a big deal out of people not making animals properly, it strikes me as him trying to take control of the entire lobby and make things happen his way
@@Levi_The_One_The_Only Well I wouldn't go that far. A lot of times he has what i think are the best words of advice for the other participants, but it seems like such a simple rule as "if they're obviously going for x thing to happen, keep doing it (as long as it's TOS safe)" isn't super important for him sometimes.
All you need is follow through. Camilio’s shapeshifting in Encanto is just jump cuts with follow through but looks super smooth, so you could just do that.
I've had this idea since the fusion dance episode, but what if you guys animated pokemon evolutions? I.e. squirtle > wartortle > blastoise Would be really neat to see!
I think it'd be fun if there was an actual morph mode, where the first person draws something. Then the next person draw something else. The next person then is given the two images and has to draw the in between of them. Then someone is given the first drawing and the middle drawing. Then the next person is given the last and middle drawing and this continues until everyone has gone
I'm not sure how possible it would be, but I think a round with the primary theme being _Transformers_ would be interesting. Like, you start in Vehicle mode, and then have to transition to Robot Mode or vice-versa.
1:09 Ohhh, the Feliz Jueves meme!!! It was really unexpected to hear it. I usually don't like the meme, but hearing Telepurte say it was actually cool :D
I'm beginning to see a pattern. Ross has transformed into a slow animal twice. First a sloth, now a turtle. If the next time they do this and Ross just stays the same through out his entire transformation sequence, it would be the biggest prank in animation history.
idk if you have an idea for Halloween already, but I just thought that morphing into just monsters could be really cool. Just slowly make it creepier and more cursed...
ilove how telepurte just makes the drawings just suddenly have a comeplete different outcome yet doesnt entirely change the imagination to where to take it 💀
What the hell is with Abdul taking something that's going in an obvious, established direction, and just taking an inexplicable hard left turn into grotesquerie?
Ross: You guys see someone gave it rabbit ears, and then you give it hooves! Also Ross: Is given a perfect template for a seahorse and makes it an elephant.
Reminder for myself, if I do something like this. I will do my darndest to make everyone a crab or a starfish. Crab because everything will eventually evolve into a crab, and starfish because the starfish animorphs is the best one.
"Half of these aren't even animals any more" "I don't know if you guys have ever seen an animal before" "these are not animals" > literally the frames in the middle of the transformation (after he explicitly said to do it slowly) Still tho these are amazingly fun to watch and I love seeing how smooth some of those animations end up.
These videos filled with amazing artists are can be kinda weird bcos sometimes it's a little disappointing when ppl completely change the direction the prompt was going in, i.e.: * Seahorse -> Elephant * Horse(?) -> Bird * Frog -> Bird * Jackalope -> Donkey -> Cow * Lamb/ Goat -> Crocodile * Rat -> Dog * Bird -> Tree * Cat -> Dolphin -> Wolf, etc, but the end result still turns out amazing so you love it at the same time.
Hypothetical question. No reason in particular. But what is the protocol for if your character was already an animal to begin with. Just out of curiosity.
I think Telepurte reverting to monke sent me so hard, that the grapefruit juice I was drinking will forever be in my sinuses due to the rampant snorting
I love these so much. I Hope they never end. They always come out right after I'm done with school. Usually I have bad days at school so I can usually watch these and they make me feel better
