To add to above: while this couple is showing larger amounts per bag, I want to assure you they also offer smaller amounts. While I used to be able to handle up to 100 pounds, age and joint replacements have caught up to me! For example, rather than ordering 25 or 50 pounds of something, I order 5 bags of 5# or 10 bags of 5# bags; then ask for each case to be limited to 15 pounds per case maximum. They have also honored my request and I greatly appreciate that!!

We've looked into Azure before. We've been on a journey to raise/grow a good portion of our food, but there are some things that are more difficult to produce than others. We may end up going through them. I really appreciate your perspective on the weight of our buying choices as believers. We also have Amish neighbors here in SW Missouri. They have been a blessing and have served to unknowingly challenge us in the areas of community, simplicity, kingdom focus, etc.
@ScottandKelli
@ScottandKelli 3 года назад
How cool you live near the Amish, what a blessing! And yes, as much as we want to source our food ourselves there are some things that's just easier to get in bulk like oats, black beans and rice! God bless you on your journey!!

I have been ordering bulk organic foods from Azure for many years. Overall I am VERY happy with Azure. As Americans we are very spoiled on the little issues (change in drop off days/times). Overall we are blessed to have Azure. Shipping charges are small compared to other places I have ordered from. So grateful for Azure.

It is still a little frustrating though. I placed in order a week before the cutoff date, they put a hold on my card but never told me the items were out of stock. I found out when my order arrived that I went all the way to my drop point for a set of three lids only. I’ve tried to get the item 4 months in a row now so I feel I’ve definitely had enough patience. It’s very disheartening. Now I just get in and cancel my cart if the majority of the items are out of stock so I’m not taking time off work, driving to town, just to find out I waited for $6.00 out of $200 of the order that was placed.

🌹Hi, just found your channel and sub’d. Been looking at Azure, appreciate y’all’s review as well as comments from other subscribers below. 🙏🏼 Lemon juice ice cubes is the way to go, brilliant. 💚🌱On your plant stand, fixed shelves- same issue I had; I cut up some blue board insulation sheets and put them under my plant flats. Remove one sheet at a time as the seedlings grow🌱💧💚 No space in mine for a fan, so before I water the seedlings, I run my hand over them gently, like petting my dog, to increase their strength once they go outdoors. I look forward to watching more of your videos ❤️🙏🏼🌹

Yes I really like using Azure Standard. I use them to try to build up my pantry. I have had issues with some items like powdered coconut milk becoming unavailable after I have already placed my order and at the time there were plenty items available. I am severely lactose intolerant and you just can't get the powdered coconut milk anywhere else. I will sometimes buy the powdered coconut cream in place of it to use in recipes that call for powdered milk. But it will not keep me from purchasing from them. You could always slice your Lemons and dehydrate them as well. I add a slice to my tea and it's delicious

Love my skin-on Mary's chicken thighs from Azure. Still buy stuff from Vitacost...they do have more of the little pantry stuff Azure does not carry. Both companies, along with my garden, make for few and small trips to the grocery store. And, yes, Azure has the best skin products for my pesky skin. We’ve ordered for many years. When azure took on the SE part of the US things became harder to get. We don’t live in an area where we have a Kroger and getting organic is rarely available. Yes when you drive an hour to pick up food and then your main items don’t come because it was in your cart and then it wasn’t It is over the top frustrating and our group has shrunk to a tiny group. If they would just make the cart truthful I’d give them a super five star rating

Your video warmed my heart when you talked about "mission". It is my hope all people can get back to living life simpler with a mission. Also love Azure Standard and buy from them every month. FYI Lower your grow lights to no more than 2 inches above the plants. You will get stronger tomato plants, raise as they grow but keep the light very low and use low heat bulbs.

And coconut butter is awesome and so easy, just blend 6 cups of shredded coconut in Vitamix with a tablespoon of coconut oil and that's it! It does harden after a while, so I just pour it in a jar immediately and get it out with a knife, or I'll use a scoop and make little coconut balls and they will harden that way!

If you want to make a cheap version of that seedling tent you can use those silver reflective emergency blankets, $1.99 in the camping section and hang vertically around your shelves securing with clothes pins or binder clips, leaving a seam at the front to access your plants and then clip back closed. 3 or 4 is usually enough depending on the size of your shelving unit ! Those wind shield reflective things work too but the shape isn’t good for larger shelves. Also reflectix, the silver bubble wrap found in building material dept of a store. Blessings

@Danny I am Pro-Life. Which means, because of my Pro-Life convictions, if I have to put up with the slight annoyance and inconvenience of wearing a mask to protect my 98 year old grandmother, my cousin who has Cystic Fibrosis, and those close to me who have cancer, I will wear a mask. As a Drop Coordinator of my own drop, we followed the NC COVID19 Protective Health Measures. But, I also had accommodations for those who chose not to wear a mask. Only those who wished to help unload the truck were required to wear a mask. In case you are unaware, there were also anti-mask leagues during the Spanish Flu...and we all know how well that turned out.😥 Helping to protect OTHERS who may not be able to protect themselves is one of the most "Christian" and "Pro-Life" and unselfish things someone can do. Amazing how many of those who call themselves believers or Christians do not want to protect others. It hurts my heart. Love should be the first response...disease knows no politics. Doesn't the Bible mention loving others as yourself, thou shall not kill, and caring for those who cannot care for themselves? Why is this not being practiced in the face of COVID19? As to our rights of Life, Liberty....LIFE is first and trumps everything else. Calling people "Mask Nazis" is highly inappropriate, unkind and is not showing the love Jesus implored us to show.

I really like you guys. One thing you said really stuck with me and I feel the need to give gentle feedback. You mentioned avoiding "mask Nazis". I feel it important to point out that asking the public to wear face covering in order to stop the spread of a deadly disease is in no way the same as the systematic torture and murder of more than 17 million people including, jews, Soviet civilians and prisoners of war, disabled, Roma, homosexuals, Serb civilians, Jahovah's witnesses, political opponents, and non Jewish Polish civilians. Although there is actual science to support the use of masks, that point is irrelevant to the use of the word Nazi here. I decided to post this only because you both seem very compassionate and might be receptive to kindly meant feedback.

Im watching this because the algo knows I order from Azure. I liked what fella said about getting away from the corporate but if you 2 are animal eaters, it doesnt matter. Humans live in cognitive dissonance where we think we can do little things that dont inconvenience us or challenge us but if youre not vegan, you might as well just shop at kroger becasue its the biggest problem we face. Systemic narcissism that we are the only important thing and that we can pick and choose how to be decent people. Animal eaters are not decent people. Hopefully you are and then you may understand its not a diet. Killing and eating sentient beings is a death diet for all of us> I saw the pic of animals behind your head with organic on them and made me think most dipshits just identify as conscious without actually doing anything real. Ironically,being vegan isnt a thing, its the absence of a thing. Cant wait t see the sociopathic, narcissistivc comments coming from those defending their bad behavior. This was nothing bad about you 2, Im watching your video as i work out. I just know how this shit generally goes. We generally only do the bullshit parts that help us/save us money. Also humans dont have missions, were ants. Its narcissistic to think that were so important or special or on a journey. Most of us are big terrified children playing adult but making terrible choices and then justifying them. Psychology says were idiots and living in a system where bpd pays but only in dollars in exchange for our souls, slthough thats not a real thing. Too much coffee today but we need to call our collective behavior what it is if we are to stop doing it, first we must identify how much of a douche we all are.

Word of warning!! Your drop is going depend GREATLY on your drop coordinator! I had my first and last pick up recently! Learning from my mistakes may save you from a tremendous headache!! #1: BE A PEST! Contact your drop coordinator days before the drop to see if there is a time change! Contact your coordinator the day b4 the drop to DOUBLE check if there is a time change for the drop and make sure they add YOUR name/number to their contact list!!! Especially if you are driving any sort of distance! My drop 45-60 minutes away! I unfortunately was NOT a pest and took the coordinators word for it that she WOULD inform me of any changes (MISTAKE!) #2 Place a very small first order to see if this drop is being ran well and if this is something you actually want to deal with in the future! ( TG I did do that!) #3 Search online for azure standard "complaints" don't just search azure standard! Also their Instagram is scrubbed ie: they remove complaints!! What happened? The coordinator emailed me time of drop ect...I emailed back with my phone # and asked that she PLEASE contact me if their were any pickup/drop delays bc I was driving far! Well 50 minute drive no truck! No people! Texted coordinator she says drop is now 4pm not 2pm! I have to work so I can't stay for 2 HOURS! The coordinator was absolutely impossible to work with getting my stuff! Took multiple texts, phone calls, contacting azure customer service!! I knew right away this going to be bad and asked azure to just refund me so I didn't have to deal with it! NOPE! She had told azure she was going to drop the items off on my porch while I was at work! NOPE! Didn't happen! Never happened!! 2nd day she refused to answer any messages at all! And I had to spend more time with customer support - basically she was holding my items that I PAID for hostage! Mind you I asked her to leave the items 2 miles from the drop at one of my spouses clients! Instead of answering me if she would.. she called the client BEFORE WE DID! The client thought she was a lunatic and of course didn't know what she was talking about! So then she refused to leave it where I told her! ( remember its paid for and belongs to me!)! 2 days of back and forth HELL due to no fault of my own! Finally got my plants she kept my milk! Longer story!! Be warned! Btw she finally left my items at the place I asked her to leave them in the first place!! Also ...she tried to say she told me 4 o'clock until I sent her a copy of the email! I felt like this is some kind of scam she does so people just leave their stuff and she keeps it? Could be wrong!? But I gotta call it like I see it! Fyi Coordinators are NOT paid! So its whomever volunteers!! Azure customer service- first girl actually made things worse!!! 2nd one Hannah was a god send! Ty Hannah you rock!! Quality of items? Ask HER about my milk! Plants: Pretty good for being in a semi truck for a week! Giving em some tlc now Also I think most of the youtubers are paid affiliates but I could be wrong!
