Definitely agree about the traffic, although that is a major issue across the entire triangle because the area lacks quality public transportation. Once the entire 540 corridor opens and the BRT system is completed, that will relieve traffic a bit, although those won't be finished for a while.
The market is still competitive, especially in the Cary area, but it's nothing like what we saw during 2021 and parts of 2022. While some of the more sought after houses may still go over asking with multiple offers, what it takes to get those houses is much more "reasonable" than what we saw a year or two ago. Homes in general are sitting on the market longer and while it's still a seller's market overall, the balance has shifted a little back towards the buyer.
