Encino is a neighborhood in Los Angeles that many celebrities and wealthy people live in and call home. There's a reason Encino, California is one of the most desirable neighborhoods to move to in Los Angeles. To begin, Encino is located right near the 101 and 405 freeway junction and offers residents a central location to many different parts of Los Angeles. You can access the valley, central LA, and the Westside very easily from Encino.
Encino has a median home value of about $1.5 million dollars currently. This is about 25% more than the current Median home value in Los Angeles. Many homes have been built in Encino since the 1940s, about half of which were built after 1970.
Encino has the Encino Commons, Los Encinos Park, a variety of Grocery stores and businesses along Ventura Blvd, and many other easy to access amenities that make it desirable to live in.
Encino is also a nice and affluent neighborhood that has median incomes ranging from around $50,000 to around $180,000 per year depending on what subsection of Encino you are looking at. Many homes in Encino have been recently built and remodeled while many homes have character from the past but are still kept up beautifully.
Encino has a great selection of elementary schools including Charter Schools. There are no Public High Schools in Encino but there are private high schools. Overall I consider Encino to be a great location to move in Los Angeles.
