With you on the landfill. Been here in Collin County between McKinney and Melissa for 16 years now and the landfill is a zero problem! Even on strong, windy days or super rainy days its not noticeable that its there!

I'm very glad you mentioned the landfill. There's alot of semi traffic up the 121 also. I live in Leonard. there's alot of options around melissa. I think the taxes are going to be insane if they aren't already. Moved from Anna to get out of the huge taxes.

Thanks for watching! I love Melissa and lived there for a while! The Landfill is not a huge issue like it sounds, but I want to address that it is there. I do think it’s strange that they are building homes right on top of it. I love the school system and the feel of the town though! Leanord is a great little community! I need to get out and film there sometime! Once that highway is completed that place will have some massive growth!

@@livinginnorthdallastx yeah. those new apartments/condos are DIRECTLY next to it. The storage place their building i think serves a dual purpouse.. one which is to block the view. I have 17 acres and rebuilt our farmhouse in leonard. i kind of speculated it will grow. moved out here 2 years ago. Still pretty rural and wolf city and surrounding areas are still good deals.

I live 4 miles away from the land fill and its not a health problem. The health problem might be getting hit by the large trash trucks on 121 going to and from M-F.
