Being a native of Tampa, I rather take the hot weather in the west than Florida. The humidity is crazy and uncomfortable and you got mosquitos and bugs that love that. I enjoy the west when it spring and summer better

Thank you for your comments, appreciate the feedback! The humidity is tough. As a native Phoenician who's used to the dry climate, I lived in New Orleans while going to college. The humidity down there was really tough for me and quite an adjustment. The bugs were everywhere. I'll take the heat and dryness over the humidity any day. Thanks again for your support. Are you currently living in Tampa? Have you visited the Phoenix area?

I'm with you on the heat, it's definitely hot right now...it's summertime.🥵 I lived in the South in college and really struggled with the humidity. New England is a nice place, I've told my wife that one day I would like to take her on a trip up the New England coast to Canada. I was there as a kid and thought it was really nice, love the coastline. Enjoy your time back East. Appreciate your support and thanks for your comments.

@@PHOENIXAZLIVING you're welcome, if you started in Boston and rent a car, you could go all the way to eastport Maine if you go on the coast, I've lived up here a few years and it is very nice and , the coast is just unforgettable If you go and say, mid-october you can get amazing colors and most of the tourists will be gone Coastal Maine is very busy If you go south from Boston, you can go to Martha's vineyard, see Rhode Island, I have never been down there because I don't have a car, but I have been up to coastal Maine, and it's unforgettable

Yea, it’s hot so walk in it everyday. Make sure you have plenty of water and covering on your head. But get used to walking in it. I’m 63 and I’ve been walking in it almost everyday for over 20 years. So it’s hot, you’ll really appreciate an air conditioned home when you arrive home. Really bad public transport system, it’s a cultural wasteland, but it has its compensations like nature. Hiking, climbing and biking are all great.

I moved to Mesa in 1991 from Ohio, and haven't looked back. It does get very hot but found I prefer that over freezing cold. I do get home I use to get home sick for what I call the three F's family, friends, and fishing. A lot more water in Ohio, there is a few big lakes in Arizona but you have to pay to park to fish, in Ohio so many more fishing spots and don't have to pay, And the fishing license cost is very high. I call Mesa a little big town, been here 32 years no real regrets. At 63 not leaving now just bought a mobile home moving into next month. no regrets.

That's great to hear, Mesa is a nice place. Thank you for sharing and appreciate you watching the video. Unfortunately, we live in the desert and there's not much water so we are limited. I enjoy fishing too and some of our local lakes are not too bad. I've always enjoyed fishing at Oak Creek in Sedona. Summers I can do without but being a native it comes with the territory. I sure do love our winters though. Enjoy your new home🙂

Some fun times...Hopefully you've checked out the channel, I've done several videos on Mesa, including the beautiful masterplan, Eastmark in east Mesa. Our family built several communities in Mesa over the years including on of my favorites, Mahogany, a gated subdivision at Brown & Greenfield, in the heart of the citrus. In Mesa, you still get the storms during Monsoon as they are close enough to the mountains that the heat island doesn't block the rain. The prettiest areas are in the NE area out by Power Rd. The freeways all over the East Valley make quick driving. I lived out in the area in the 70s so I have perspective. Mesa is HUGE and just like any huge city there are differences and pros and cons to each different neighborhood. NW Mesa used to be quite a tech hub. Now, after several transitions it is sort of becoming more urban developed with more modern city planning concepts and is close to Tempe and the Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. SE Mesa is more fake farm type. There used to be gobs of farms out there, now it is just pretend. I would say that is the busiest area of Mesa with suburan type of spawl and traffic.
@PHOENIXARIZONALIVING333
@PHOENIXARIZONALIVING333 Год назад
Great perspective, Paula! I would agree. I spent a lot of time in Mesa back in the 70s and it has changed so much. With respect to big cities, there will always be pros and cons, we just try to make the best of it. Overall, I believe Mesa has made some great changes over the years. I like the Riverview area with the ballpark, Bass Pro shop, the nice park they have there, and the North 202 have made life so much easier to get around. I need to hire you as my PR person, I like your perspective. 😀👍 Love the comments!!

Buddy, been here 21 years, and the weather is warmer during the winter where we come from - over at the central coast of California. Bad things here" Choice of ethnic foods, very old winter nights, hot summers with humidity and hot nights, too, poor wages for those needing to work, many older white racists who appear uneducated, many areas actually triple in population during the winter, and the winters are low 50's to rare 70's with lows down to 20'sat night.
