Hi everyone, I've owned my Hellcat for almost a year now and wanted to share the pros and cons I've learned along the way. This is all based on my opinion and preferences. With that said, I am forever keeping her! haha Drive safe!
she's not lyin about how easily you can lose control of one of these things, it's happened to me several times. it DOES burn A LOT of gas. you can literally SEE the guage moving if you look at it. it's ridiculous. she's also right about being robbed. she better be careful. you can easily get jacked for this car. i bought a destroyer gray charger hellcat for my mother. we don't drive it daily so it's protected and preserved in a garage with a car cover. it's a 2017 with 22 or 23k miles. it's only driven when she needs to go somewhere. and i have my own 2007 fully loaded black jeep grand cherokee srt8 with less than 60k miles on it. we're also NOT selling the hellcat since dodge is (stupidly) not making them anymore. i HOPE she doesn't ruin it by driving it daily and racking up miles on it. she better get a beater.
The gauge moving is no joke! haha And not this is not my daily, I have my Camry for that. 🥰 And I agree on not telling the hellcat now that they are discontinued! 😭
Had a Charger Scat Pack. Wasn't bad in the rain. But borrowed a friend's Challenger RT when my car was in the shop. It was down right scarry in the rain. I now have a Hellcat Durango. All wheel drive. No problem. But I do miss my Manuel Mustang Bullitt. Though a lot more scarry to drive 100 miles per hour at night than my Scat Pack was
Omg I thought I was the only one that hated driving mine in the rain … puddles and every red light and stop sign when it’s raining… you have to pay attention way more than any other car I’ve had
This lady knows her car. Everything she said is true, put clear and simple here. I'd add that some of the "losing control" is part of having a car with this much power, RWD only and shitty stock tires. The factory Pirellis are just trash. Using a better tire will improve the handling a long way. Other cars with this much power, such as a Camarlo ZL1, will also be hard to tame on low grip conditions, but they ship with better tires from factory. Another important aspect here is how easy it is go gain power (as if you needed more) compared to the Scat Pack / SRT392 (6.4L NA). These 6.2 engines are very robust and stock configuration has a good, safe margin to work with, while the 6.4 pretty much comes at its limit from factory and any big gains will require changing pistons and other internal engine components. The 6.2 Hellcat engine can easily get 100 more HPs with pulley, injectors and a tune.
So nice. Do u have a kill switch for ur car? And one of those signal blocker boxes for ur keys? There is also a small pouch u cm but as well. This way the signal/frequency can’t replicated, and it being stolen.
I’d love to have one but I live in the ATL area and are stolen A LOT! I wouldn’t get any sleep, even with a my garage. Lol! I wouldn’t be able to enjoy outings.
That's awesome, and I hate it too when you park farthest away a plenty of open space and someone goes right next to you, gets on my nerves , keep up the great content Araceli ❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰😊👍
I put my cellphone in the right small narrow slot but the gearshift upside down and it holds there and there registration is high but it goes down every year for me thus far. I like my challenger though
I tried to use the narrow slot next to the shifter, but my phone kept getting nugged under the shifter. Plus it rattles when I drive lol I hope my registrations goes down next year haha Appreciate it! 😄
I had a Gotta Have It Green Mustang GT.....another cop magnet. Hellcats are amazing, but getting all that power down in a hurry can be tricky when trying to shame me in my rev happy Mustang. Beautiful car 👌.
I just bought a shaker scat pack challenger 392 dosen't have the hp yours has but it pretty bad on the gas 😅but I still ❤it it's the last call mopar. Love you're cat it's awesome 😊
@ArasGarage exactly 💯 agree but here the super unleaded is like 3.65 a gallon isn't that bad 🤔 it's really good on the highway depending 🤣have a great blessed day nice meeting you oh it's white with black stripes 😀
Tires don't help with traction? I had terrible traction in the rain until I bought the Continent Extreme Contacts, now I can fly 😁...Registration her in Missouri is only about $100/2 yrs, but we pay property tax every year. I'm at about $500/yr ☹️...Great video Ara. You know I love your car 😍😍😍
Doesn't it come with Blind Spot Monitoring? Everything else is pretty much true. It does have cruise control which is capable of 28MPG on long trips while in Eco Mode.
Funny thing for my insurance I had a r/t and moved up the a Scatpack and insurance went down a few years later I got a hellcat and my insurance went down again shockingly
I have a 2012 Mustang v6 Convertible, people say NJ is expensive but for two cars and a Harley my Insurance bill is 190 a month, reg yearly is 39 bucks for the Mustang.
Now this video is Infotainment for real. Let’s just assume it’s not a 2015 3rd party refurbished head unit. For the love of fresh un air-conditioned ventilation. Unbelievable. Maybe people won’t know they can refurbish it themselves and keep their factory year correct tech.
Just in joy your CAR YOU MITE WONT TO Consider CarLock !, a steering wheel lock, and a brake lock.. I know it can be a hassle. It just might keep your car safe somewhat.
People need to learn to use all the power in your car so you can control it. They need to take it somewhere that they can just spin around every which way.
Word to the wise esp if it's your first Mopar....buy an R/T, get used the power, mod it one piece at a time, get used to incremental power increase, save on car payments and insurance, make your own Hellcat for way cheaper. You're welcome.
