@@DerekJensen-m3q do you have any examples that I can look up? I belive that, civilly in the US, NDAs covering illegal activities are legally non-binding. I thought this was true for government as well. In part because they are, after all, called civil servants.. I know things can be a little different in the military, but I would still expect NDAs to be legally non-binding for illegal activities. Granted, that wouldn't allow military or government employees to disclose classified information just because a crime was committed..
@@pattio8940 those aren't really examples, though. leaking classified information, regardless of whether or not it's the right thing to do, is illegal. the mass surveillance programs that snowden leaked weren't illegal- they had been authorized by law (as disgusting as that is). i was asking for examples where .gov is doing something illegal and someone in the armed forces is prosecuted for revealing it..

Well I do understand your point to a certain degree. It's how I feel about women and the casting couch and me too movement. And until this prosecutor went into details about how these men were forcibly drugged ect that's a whole other ball game and is wrong and those things are what turned the men into victims of r@pe and torture. This has gone on since time began. However, the "upper echelons" have usually been protected. My question is, why are the authorities suddenly bombarding us with the obvious? Why are they eating a few of their own? All while not revealing the other "johns" that are just as guilty? What ever happened to the tapes, audio, and photo evidence the few of the convicted owned and are now in various three initialed agencies? Whoever holds that evidence has the power. And, in my humble opinion, it's over many people who are supposed to be leading this country. Obvious, no?
