A better way would be to speak the language a Christian would speak. Asking them to assume the mind of God is actually offensive, “how do you think God would feel…” ….a better way would be… “Do you think the Lord would give you peace about having financial protection in place for your family when He does decide to take you home?” - this is going to get you a LOT more mileage with a Christian. “Do you think the Lord would give you peace if….XYZ…”
