Thank you Doctor. I was just diagnose with 3+3=6 on 2 out of 12 cores and I am still trying to get a grasp on how to deal with active surveillance and not immediately aggressively treating. It just seems so foreign when you have cancer and are in the early stage. I am 55 and enjoy sex but enjoy a longer life a bit more.
Good presentation. Understandable to laymen as well as medical personnel. I understand the Gleason grade 3+3=6 is considered an indolent, non-invasive form of prostate cancer. Some say it should not be called cancer at all because it doesn’t metastasize or kill one. Do you know how often such cancers become higher grade? Is there currently any way to know if such cancers will become higher grade?
