Amazing video please do more about porcelain and everything related with those confusing terms of quenching and annealing and modulus of elasticity etc
Actually denture processing and lab stuff is what I see the most of on boards part 2 in dental decks and mastery app. I have confirmed with other students that it is critical to know this info
Hi Ryan thank you for the clear and informative video! Acrylic-Resin starts to be mentioned later one in the slides and I was wondering when that’s added and if acrylic resin is only used in a certain part of the denture? Thank you!
Dr Ryan, is there a video in your prosthodontic series which covers the following topics, Trial denture, Denture Insertion, horizontal and vertical dimensions?
Hey Ryan thank you for the great videos they're really helpful. I want to share some clinical tips about using porcelain teeth on dentures. Especially for the cases with lower anterior natural teeth opposing an edentulous arch; it is very risky to use porcelain teeth in the denture. In 1-3 years you will most likely see a labile alveolar ridge on the anterior maxilla, which you mentioned in the combination syndrome topic. So it is not indicated using porcelain teeth especially in those cases. Thanks again, cheers!
There are quite a few out there, but Prosthodontic Treatment for Edentulous Patients is quite good for removable (amzn.to/3ynokAV) and Fundamentals of Fixed Prosthodontics for fixed (amzn.to/3irPxNj).
