Got a buddy that started doin circle track . Chrysler motor , holley carb . I can't stand holley carbs . Ive throwin over 30 of them in the trash . So my buddy got tired a all the engine problems . Didnt even finish 2 a 3 races . He got another beater car . Chevy . Threw together a 327 with a q jet . Ran right out and took 2nd place first race with the 327 . And NO motor issues at all ! That is a nice carby. What cubic inch engine is the new Pro Systems 780 going on? What RPM will the engine run to? I’m keen to see how it goes and what jetting etc you end up with. Thanks 👍🇦🇺
Thanks it's a 355 10.0cr Dart 215 heads. Turns 6700rpm on a normal lap. 6900rpm on the bigger track. Its working perfectly! I did struggle the first few races with the power valve opening too late, causing a hesitant off the corners. I ended up with an 8.5 pv, and it's working great.
It took some work, but I got it.I had to change to a 8.5 pv to fix a stumble off the corners and I opened up the air bleeds for the idle circuit to fix a fire ball on deceleration.
