Half way through the video just thought about the present day. EV adoption is picking up in USA and Europe. US government introduced inflation reduction act which subsidized all EV related industries while keeping Trump era tariffs on china . They also stopped ASMl the manufacturer of semi conductor fabricators to stop selling to China.

I understand if we increase terrific barriers it definitely will save dollers plus it will help industrialization of products we import. But what do you say about immidiate short term impact of this. Thoes who have this business of imports or rely heavily on imported raw material will be effected and may result in joblessnesss in short run until we have Industries coming up producing thoes raw material
