Hey Derek...I have a question about your other channel Superderek streams!...I often get a blue dot, when looking at it, as if there was new content, but when I look at it there's no new content? Do you know why? Is it because you region lock the videos or are you using the channel for private videos you've streamed on Twitch?

RPG Black Friday sale news: Square Enix's store has tons of titles on sale for less than $4, including sealed PS1 games! I picked up FF IX, Origins, Chronicles, Anthology as well as Chrono Cross for less than $20! Ordered it in the morning and it already shipped by the afternoon! Switch eshop has some sweet RPG sales going on too..picked up the Grandia collection, Romance Saga 3, and Ys VIII.

I keep my Gameboy games in audio cassette cases with custom covers. It's tiny and a little fragile but I absolutely love how it looks

I've seen that idea around, I even did that myself for a while. The problem though is support, there aren't many covers available in that format, so it's more work on a larger scale, but they really do look great! At least that was the case a while back. :)

I just started using the cover project a couple months ago and it’s been awesome. I would recommend making the picture black and white and the brightness very high and do a practice print to make sure that it fits in your case.

Thank you for sharing. I printed some of my own covers for ps2. Fun but a lot of work and setting up. I think I used microsoft word landscape layout and saved the margins, but I don't remember. I even printed 2 manuals, but that was way too much work and time. I'd rather just buy the manual or have it digitally. I used microsoft publisher and I had to plan the pages beforehand so it would staple properly and print on both sides.

Glad you made a video about this. I remember you talking about making your own cases way back, and it looks like you've really worked out how to make them look great. I would really love to do this for some of my NES/SNES/64 games that I've lost the boxes for (or never owned in the first place). I've needed to replace my printer for a while now (as it is not Win 10 compatible), and was probably going to get a LaserJet. Do you think using toner vs ink would impact the visual quality of the prints much?

No idea really, if you're looking at a fancy laser printer I think it'd be a good idea to look for glossy laser photo paper and read some reviews of what people used. :)

I collect PS1 games (PAL) and usually wrap any rare ones in some cling film. Keeps the dust etc away from the case and is almost invisible.

In our modern world where discs are just product keys, I really have to thank Nintendo for the Switch (almost) always having the games I love on carts. I'm glad they realize that us physical collectors still exist.

Hey Derek, here's a question. Your comment on Corpse Party got me thinking. What do you personally do if you purchased a game digitally, but then want it physically? I was big into pc gaming for most of the current generation. But when the switch came out I got back into physical collecting. A lot of games I have are digital on pc though and some of them I want to buy physical for collectors purposes. Do you think it's ever worth double dipping for the sake of collecting? Your videos are great by the way!

Thanks Dylan! That's a good question! I don't know if I would ever re-purchase a game, because that's money I could spend on a different game, you know? It's tough! But if it's an enhanced port, maybe it'd be worth it to re-purchase the game. At least, that's my way of thinking. :)

customgamecases.com sells cases for relatively cheap, and are great quality and are made specifically for each console's game, so you will always have a place to put your manual and your games will fit perfectly no questions. It might be more expensive than these universal game cases, I'm not really sure, but the quality is leaps and bounds better than them.
