This project in the Lakewood area of Dallas was to address the fact that the homeowner's property sloped toward their house. Both the front lawn and the neighbor's house were significantly higher than the foundation and this presented a problem - especially during a peak rainstorm.
Our goal was to address this issue in a way the bullet proofed the house from flooding, and we did so using a combination of drainage, grading and river rock. Hopefully this project will give you some ideas for ways to address flooding concerns at your own house. Enjoy!
