Clinton Hill, Jacqueline Kennedy’s Secret Service detail, shared memories of the Kennedy White House and his service protecting the first family with Tom Putnam, Director of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum
Anyone complaining about his voice and coughing, get over yourselves. This man at the time, 3 years ago is the same age as my Mother. SHE'S 89 today. Pray you live THAT LONG !
Mr. Hill is the type man that no longer exists. Brave, capable, strong. Very handsome, I saw footage of him during this time. He looked very much like my dad.
This was fascinating. I’ve heard him tell the story of the assassination before, and he was quite professional and matter of fact about it. Did not discuss his feelings. But now hearing the backstory of his relationship with them really puts things into perspective. He was there for the birth of their children and so many important events. Cannot imagine how horrible the grief and guilt must have been. He literally tried to throw himself over the first family. What a courageous person. Fantastic memory as well.
This fine man was one of the relatively few people to see the actual size of JFKs fatal head wound...there is controversy about the size and location of said wound--but Mr. Hill has said that he got a good look at the wound...I wish he would address this gruesome issue, in order to clear up the controversy...for example, the brain was removed at autopsy, and put in a solution to preserve it...Yet several witnesses to the head wound, both at Parkland, and later on at the autopsy, state that most of his brains was blown out-missing!...That cannot be, unless the autopsy doctors were lying in their final reports.....and lying at that level just does not make any sense.
@@curbozerboomer1773 just to hear what the doctor in parkland said, a part of the brain cerebellum was missing james files used a mercury round explosive, but they where still a good part of the brain inside kennedys skull and they lost it the autopsy is in total contradiction of what doctors at parkland saw and corroborate with many withness when you see zapruder film you see how the head explose jackie grasp part of the brain on the back of the limo he saw the hole in the back they have orders from the top to shut up covert operation , to cover theyre ass (secret service) they control the top of each agency or governement cia , fbi president all top leaders , thats the way to control if you control employes they gonna get stop by the top(theyre boss)
this guy is a liar or extremely dumb he was there, he heard where the shot came from grassy knolthat explode the headand kill jfk james files shot he saw kennedy , the matters on the trunk he heard the bikercop behind say that he was splash by blood and matters jackie grasp piece of brain on the trunk before he push her in the car he probably saw kennedys back head blown out? what did he see im not sure, how he saw kennedy ? but if i was him i would of inquired a lot and see all the evidences that point against the official story but those guys are theyre for puting theyre life in danger , not because they are smart they have no brain when i hear him talk its like hes he that dumb he didnt hear 4 and more shots? hard to tell how he lived the thing but with investigation specialy after a couple of years its pretty easy to see that the official version is a cover up of a coup d etat most dummies dont investigate seriously and are to stupid to see it faulty reason is a terrible thing@@Harleysport1999
I wish there were a way to fix the audio here. Even though I have my computer at full volume and using headphones, as soon as a commercial breaks come in, they tear my ears off being so loud!
MiCROPHONE IS SO FAR AWAY , THAT WE'RE NOT ABLE TO HEAR WHAT'S HE'S TALKING ABOUT. PLEASE DO A BETTER VOLUME ON THOSE MICROPHONES FOR A BETTER COMMUNICATION WITH RESPECT TO ALL. WE APPRECIATE , THANKS FOR IT.
@Thomas Pickering I've read everything there is to read about the assassination since I was 12 years old. That was my age when it happened. Remember it like yesterday. You are the only person that's said that. You're sick.
But I suspect he has been manipulated into marrying his co-author, a nice-looking woman who is about half of his age!...A strange case of "Gold-digging", IMO.
It was reported that the Kennedys couldn’t stand Johnson. I don’t know if the reports are true. Hill loved the Kennedys so If they are, perhaps he was on their side.
Mr. Hill’s book “Mrs. Kennedy and Me” clearly shows the love and respect that he had for both President and Mrs. Kennedy. Because he worked directly for Mrs. Kennedy, he was obviously closer to her. In his book, Mr. Hill said that after working for President Eisenhower, it was very refreshing to have President Kennedy, who actually remembered the names of all of the Secret Service agents. Also, President Kennedy was a man who would always take the time to engage the agents in conversation - inquiring about their families, etc.
Military standard if you addressed ppl w their lady name it's kinda like a demote type of thing , IF you use titles it's a respect thing , obviously Mr Hil had Respect for the Kennedys but NOT the others
I like him and always have liked this man. I am sixty-two and have followed President John Fitzgerald Kennedy relating to his life, his Presidency, and his death on 22 November 1963 since ~ ' 73 or '74. After the events of 22 November 1963 what Mrs. Kennedy and Mr. Hill went through is heartbreaking (to me). Both were just flat waylaid and devastated in both being present and witnessing first hand murder of Mr. Kennedy. His death was cruel and brutal.
Shut up what a stupid thing to judge someone over, do yoh really even know if he wasn't there? Or did you just see a picture! Remember a picture is a small window into a situation that never shows you the full scope. Stop judging over stupid stuff and get a life
You can find anything you need to know about Greer by doing some research...his testimony to the Warren Commission is there, for all to see....and NO, he did not shoot, or have anything to do with this murder!
...geeezissss, couldn’t they have given Mr.Hill a break, a lozenge, or SOMEthing..?? This guy, fascinating though some of the new details are, is hacking on every third/fourth word throughout this..!!
Howz about the other "protectors" from November 1963......haven't heard very much of those guys...... Protecting Jacky must've been one hell of a tough job 👍🥴 .......
the hands of kennedy reach the throat cause the entrance comes from the front, the 1st signal of pain that the brain receice is from the entrance, if the entrance would be in the back, he would open is hands backward that show the 1st signal of pain the brain received comes from the back, and would not have reach is throat the reaction indicate where the brain receive the 1st signal of pain, the entrance just think a bit Den D
@@curbozerboomer1773official forensics ;) come on you accept that? nothing is bugging your mind? theyre not true forensics those forensics have been invented to make beleive, but when you look at it closely, put the time, you see that reality is in total contradiction with the official forensics , covert operation black operation pattern
A very good point. Multiple shooters is a unassailable fact which has for too long been hidden from us. The doctors at Parkland said it was an entrance wound.
Another question is why the secret service agent who rushed forward to JFK during the assassination was Jackie's protector. The ones assigned to protect the president were unresponsive -- after three gun shots.
Mr. Hill went above and beyond that day in Dallas. He started running from the Secret Service follow up car immediately after the first shot hit the President, and he reached the car immediately after the fatal headshot - so he really put himself in the line of fire that day. In his book, Mr. Hill made it extremely clear that he grew to love both the First Lady and the President, their children, and the family of President Kennedy. Mrs. Kennedy requested that Mr. Hill receive the highest medal of bravery given by the Secret Service Agency for his bravery on November 22, 1963. The ceremony in honor of Mr. Hill was held within 2 weeks of the assassination. Mrs. Kennedy, still in deep grief, was in attendance.
These are good questions which no one wants to ask Mr Hill. Of course he has been of great service to the country, serving under almost a half dozen Presidents, including Johnson . So his alliance is with the SS, and not to the Kennedys for which he is so well known for. This should be said, out loud. He knows a lot more about what happened with the SS fails, there is NO DOUBT.
@@Paul5520 , Yes, I agree. It was a more innocent time then. I happened to be 12 at the time of the assassination, and remember how that event changed the country. Then, with the assassinations of MLK, Jr. and Robert Kennedy within 2 months of each other in 1968, it seems to me that our country has been on a downward spiral since…
That is rather curious, what were the agents assigned to "Lancer" (JFK's code name) thinking? Where were they? I think they should have been standing on the rear running boards on the rear fender, film shows them being ordered to stand down as the limosine was deploying to the parade route. This always seems odd to me.
@@rocknrollxoxox There is some evidence that Jackie may have had a brief "affair of comfort" with RFK, for a little while...it is well known that Marina Oswald had some sexual activity with a couple her assigned Secret Service men...they even called her "hot pants"...Read the amazingly well-documented book on the assassination, "Reclaiming History", by the late Vincent Bugliosi--who was famous for being a superlative prosecutor, even putting Manson behind bars for life....his book took 20 years to put together; but it answers nearly all questions surrounding that tragic event....he comes to the conclusion, that Oswald was 100% guilty of killing JFK, and he is 99% sure that Oswald acted alone.
