Great video? And the intro is awesome. Everything looks well done. In some areas where they get lots of rain it might be advisable to get the plugs/thermocube off the ground but it looks great. What is your low temps like? The only other thing I like to have is a wifi thermometer where I can see temps and make sure lights are working.

Thank you so much! Our temps range from about 10-30F in the winter. But it definitely feels so much colder…..it’s almost like a bitter cold. I will definitely need to get a wifi thermometer, thank you for that!

Great job man! I just got a couple Windmill Palms in 7gal buckets, maybe about 2 1/2 feet and 1 Needle Palm. Here in GA (North of Atl) it gets down below 20 for a couple months. Love the boxes. Those will definitely work better than the PVC and plastic covers I had. It basically blew off my Sago Palm I plant last year after the first week. Total amateur league. 😂 Your boxes will work much better for this winter. 👍🏼

Very nice video! That's a lot of money for the foam boards! I was thinking for protecting my queen palm, by using maybe plastic? I'm not sure, I don't have that much. I got to start protecting mine probably this week or next week, it's going to be 38°f. Also another thing to keep n mind, don't let it get to humid, it can cause a disease in the spear. And for the musas, are more hardy, so you could do the mulch method with lights to keep them warm. Keep us updated!

I’m in Zone 7, used plastic and pvc to make a mini greenhouse, thought it was pretty sturdy and the damn thing blew off like Mary Poppins holding the umbrella.

Make sure you don't actually wrap the palm itself in plastic because it will suffocate.
