omg how cold is it for you? my mom and i are still gardening and dying of heat😩 also im sorry they haven’t grown for you this summer. i’m hoping for the best that they make it thru the winter!
It looks like it might have root rot. If you take it out it might die. But i would say leave it until next spring, or plant one in spring because its already going to be winter.
Give him some Advil and a Monster, he should start growing some roots. In all seriousness it's unfortunate that he hasn't grown any significant root mass since the planting, Good luck to you and your palm tree.
i’m in south jersey 7b and the way i stopped my windmill palms from getting mad during the summer heat (highest we got was 98) was just absolutely drowning it. i would water for 15-20 mins the night before the heat started and every night until the heat stopped. otherwise id water normally and that doing that when i first got it stopped my palm from even getting visible transplant shock. it started growing within 2 weeks of planting it in the ground by doing this
I bought a windmill palm from Home Depot about 3 weeks ago, since purchasing my new font has opened quite a large amount and I already have a brand new fond has already started to slowly open, I’m super happy to see this amount of growth in such a short period of time!
Oh that sucks 😢 maybe u could get a bigger musa basjoo but get the dwarf cavendish kind they do better and grow a lot faster than the green musa basjoo good luck ! 🌴🍌
Maybe give it some time and it can recover since it’s growing new frounds it will look nicer or u could put it in a pot and leave it indoors like me my windmill is growing a lot 🌴
