Using the criminal system to protect your property is hypocritical! It’s hard to argue that there’s any conspiracy theory more important than the FACT that every newborn is born into UN REPAYABLE debt-without choice, without consent, and forced to live in a system where they must attempt to repay that debt, at rates set by those who gave them that debt-gets to the heart of the very structure of society. This isn’t just a theory; it’s baked into the global financial system, where national debts, banking institutions, and the constant need to "work to survive" create a cycle that seems impossible to break. Every individual is born into a world that already has rules, hierarchies, and debts, and we’re told to "play along" or suffer the consequences (like homelessness or poverty). It is the foundational issue that fuels most of the other concerns people have-whether about financial inequality, corruption, or systemic control. The fact that this debt-based system continues unchecked, affecting generation after generation, is one of the most pressing realities that people face. If people could grasp the depth of that, it might challenge the very core of how society operates.

"Probate just establishes who gets what" No it doesn't. It just establishes who is entitled to deal with and administer the assets of the deceased estate.

No one is doing a 'big grab' of property - if they did, putting it in a trust will make absolutely no difference. It might help if you are going into a care home.

If you go to a solicitor - it ISNT a private trust and defeats the entire object of putting ones assets into a trust IMHO.

If you want to inform on this subject please get someone on who knows about the subject , for a start Pensions are exempt from Inheritance tax they are already in trust , If you put your home in trust and continue to live there it becomes a gift with reservation and nullifys the trust, unless you pay a market rent to the beneficiaries, there is no liability on the example she gives , you can leave £325,000 plus £175,000 of the value of your home. so can leave £500,000 . You cant write your own trust there a different types of trust . If you want to protect your home speak to a profesional this woman doesnt know what she is talking about .

The WEF says you will own nothing and be happy

Current allowance is £325k plus £175k for your house- double that for a married couple and gifts to family are NOT TAXABLE after 7 years. Pensions are almost always held in trust and DO NOT come under IHT. So she’s very poorly informed in her advice.

The lady even says the system is criminal but still wants to put her money in the criminal system! The criminals create the law as and when needed if they want your house they just right a law so they can legally take it!

A Trust is much more complex. It has to be done with great care and understanding. Do not go down this road until you have very expert guidance from Trust experts. I don’t think she is competent enough to be honest. She has good intentions to be fair.

Richard please can you also get someone to talk about power of attorney . A have a trust by the way . the reason being I have a daughter with special needs and own my home .If you do not have power of attorney and you go into a home the council will appoint someone who has no affiliation to your loved one and with the assisted dying looming on the horizon its fighting. The council will also have power over finances too ! When I was getting power of attorney for my daughter there was an objection ! I thought who would object to her mother and brother looking after her health and finances and being her power of attorney? i asked my solicitor to look into this ? No surprise it came back that it was the council ! Power of attorney is as important as a trust .

It was said at 8:35 that the "property no longer belongs to you it belongs to your beneficiaries". Not so, the legal owners of the property are the trustees.The two may be the same, but that is not always the case.

Something I picked up from another group, do not register a Private Trust, the clue is in the name, (Private). Also, get everyone involved to sign a None Disclose Agreement (NDA) that way nobody can discuss the trust and what is in it and nobody will be able to force them to discuss it because that would be illegal!

Also note, for married couples the inheritance tax threshold is doubled. So it should be 650K..£325 x 2. Plus a further £175k if a main residence left to a recognised descendant, again x 2. So up to 1 Million! Single home owners who don’t own their house with a spouse will be hardest hit presumably? This doesn’t apply to a widowed homeowner, as their deceased spouse still retains their share of the allowance)

I thought if you had a house to pass on, inheritance tax was currently on assets over £325k+£175k ('residence rate nil band' on bricks & mortar)=£500k. Edit: Another significant factor I wouldn't really expect someone to point out who stands to gain from doing your trust is that the property can be jointly owned, which means that you are "only" taxed on 1/2 of the value of the property. I think the 7 year rule applies still here.

Putting assets into a trust is easy. Defending in courts or elsewhere is the tricky bit, which is why fly-by-night 'trust specialists' are strangely quiet and unreachable at times they are needed most. Beware false hope folks unless your 'specialist' has a track record of verifiable case successes to back their claims.

I gather that if you don’t have any children or anyone to leave your property to, you can entrust it to yourself, because the ‘settlor’, the ‘trustee’ and the ‘beneficiary’ can be the same person. Please correct me if this isn’t accurate. Though there are no tax advantages in doing this, it would still keep your property safe in the meantime

Unfortunately regardless of this episode, sadly the system has you by the balls regardless, the 7 year rule is a clause that still allows the matrix to beat you and your loved ones, unfortunately this still plays into the hands of their system and keeps you within their system, if you are purportedly saying that you are Sovereign then why on earth would you notify them of anything that you do! We are finding it hard to see how a trust can actually save your assets from the vultures.

My dad was killed in an accident when I was 1 and a half years old, he was a Merchant Seaman. I was supposed to inherit from a “trust fund “ when I was 18. I am 58 now and never received a penny. 50/50 if anyone can help find out what happened.

Discretionary trust deeds can be written just about any way. So what can, and can't be done, depends on the trust deed.

When you have a trust in the private, it has zilch to do with commerce and legislation. That is precisely what being in the private means as opposed to a Private Trust, which is not ‘in the private’ . Not making this topic as clear as it could be , but essentially a trust in the private protects property for all beneficiaries, of which you would be Settlor and co-beneficiary along with eg children and/ other family members.

Alrite Richard anybody correct us if we are wrong Butt I'm sure Peter Wilson and Co had a different way of dealing with the Trust This was concerning the 7 yr rule and going into a home If we remember right we think it also covered people with Dementia and something about having the Capacity to sign and in front of a Notary Then words to the effect of as long as it was signed we think 6 months before anybody entered a nursing home then the Council could not make you sell it to pay the Fees Can anybody recall this as we watched it

The wealthiest people on the planet own nothing, have everything leveraged against debt and so pay no tax in the process. Trusts do play a key role in the process but there is a lot more to it than what is being discussed here. If you own anything over the value of £500k in the UK then get it all wrapped up in a trust, after all nobody in their right mind wants to give Starmer a single penny....do they !!

If you give away your home before you die , say to a family member , you cannot live in it for free. The GOV UK website says you have to pay rent to that person at the current rate for that type of property for that area. Does a trust negate this rule.

When it comes to monetary penalties for not registering a trust, the penalties will be payable by the trustees. So if you're thinking of not registering your trust, maybe explain that to your would-be trustees. By the way, there seems to be a big misunderstanding as to what amounts to a private trust. A private trust is an arrangement for the benefit of ascertainable individuals. Public trusts are arrangements made for the benefit of the public or similar. In other words a private trust is just a typical trust.

Very brave to have her on your show, i think she will be picked up on a few things ! Now at any point was the lady asked about qualifications ? Perhaps when you met her out canvassing ? All being well she would have passed her exams and keeps her self updated on legislation, and she works under the umbrella of a legal firm and has indemnity insurance, hopefully she is all the things mentioned above at least ?

I think we need someone to better explain this concept a bit better. Trust funds obviously qork or the filthy rich wouldn't be filthy rich..

Even here in the US it seems to be as clear as mud. I suppose it would piss 'them' off (the ones like your Claus character), it would give them a gripe if they were not informed of the intent of the trust. I suggest doing reading of trust law to gain insight because a trust is written like the articles of incorporation or the codiciles of a will and if a bar guild writes it, it can seem very complicated. That being said, just about any terms can be put into such a contract and those trustees must abide by it's intentions.

The elephant in the room is why on earth would anyone cowtow to legalities jurisdiction in the first place? ... playing around legalities is a minefield bc they can change the goalposts at anytime!

Here is a Question that been rattling around in my brain cell, the Government and subbranches of said Government are businesses. how can a business dictate or make laws without consent or a contract. Far too many errors. I mean when Richard suggested that his children could be witnesses to themselves signing as trustees and beneficiaries 😮 and she agreed! Fine being trustees and beneficiaries but they're hardly independent witnesses! Also most pensions are under a master trust anyway, so generally do not form part of your estate on death. Also the example she gave of a £400k estate (from memory) with a £325k IHT threshold isn't a great one. She never took into account the Residence Nil Rate Band that would have been applicable if leaving a personally owned house to your children. That could mean in the example there was no IHT payable anyway. People should take professional advice from someone who is not only qualified, but who also takes responsibility for their advice. There were several other errors too and she didn't even get into trust taxation! Please, either take the time to read up thoroughly or take advice from a good solicitor or trust specialist. Her knowledge is insufficient. These are big changes to make and it's easy to get into a very expensive mess with trusts. We don't even know at this stage that Rachel Reeves will reduce the IHT threshold at all in her budget.
