I love the part where you compare the two trees. Usually ppl will just say the names of the talents and I do not memorize all talents of the 4 to 6 classes I usually play in an expansion, so that really helped. Great video, I'm very exciterd for warrior and monk tanks.

Nicely done video frendo. i am new to tanking in general despite having played wow since beginning of wrath, so nice clear cut to the point info is a huge plus. 😺😺

Currently debating between monk or warrior. Both tanks look fun and both have solid DPS specs as well.

I would like to see an improve on the Heroic talent of the mountain thane that gain a shield with intervene. Even if they put a higher CD, but It should feel like a utility party defensive such as sacrifice blessing

How does protection warrior fare compared to other tanks? I've been a prot warrior main since vanilla, and mid-high keys in seasons 3 and 4 DF have been, frankly, miserable, both because of community perception (in pugs) and the fact that I could hop on any other tank class and be so much more effective (both pugs & guild/friend groups). Essentially wondering if I'll feel obligated to re-roll just so my guild and friends and I aren't suffering...

I might be in the minority of warriors, but I actually like Colossus. Sure, having to stand still sucks, but I'd much rather just do that every 30 seconds, than having to spam thundeclaps all dungeon. Ideally both Shield Slam and Shield Block should have no cost, just a cooldown and then I could choose to spend rage on either Revenge, or Ignore Pain. Bonus points if Revenge would deal extra damage when targets are below 35% hp, so that it could replace Execute.

The talent changes really did nothing except change the pathing to get the talents you run in live now. The hero talents just make thunderclap more flashy changing the game zero. If you have played prot warrior in the last 6 years it is the exact same with exception of you don't have as much agency over if you live or die thanks to the tank nerfs.

I'm incredibly pissed about the state of the bottom third of the class tree.

They ruined the general tree. They made Thunderous Roar impossible to get for Prot while making it MORE attractive with a reduced cooldown. They need to swap the Armoed to the Teeth and Cruel Strikes if they want the tree to feel good. Cruel Strikes makes more sense over with Spear anyway, since you can get Crit Damage with Spear that would make sense together. The Tier set is overly complicated for no benefit. They should have tacked the 3% to shield block uptime. Tying the damage increase to crits in the FIRST tier is horrible. Warriors are stacking haste/vers until they feel safe, which for the first tier is basically all their gear. Bad

Man I couldn't disagree more with this video, I just really feel there hasn't been much thought put into what these changes actually do for warrior in this video. This really pigeonholes you into a single path down your trees and I disagree with even the class fantasy piece. At what point did someone who picked warrior think " Man, I wish I was in an enhancement. Shaman" .... Dumb
