Thank you! Quick question. Since our bodies has so much water, what is keeping/preventing the water from breaking all the bonds of the peptides? Likewise, what is keeping/preventing peptides from constantly releasing water to form bonds? What is regulating these two processes? Thanks!
When Amino acids fold to form a protein, amino acids with hydrophilic (love for water) R groups usually form on the outside of the protein while hydrophobic R groups are built from the inside. I hope I answered you.
