Kinda funny that Jim Howe is always the sheriff on rules when it comes to other racers engine, weight, and ext., but can’t follow a simple rule himself. He would be the first one to call out anyone else that tested within 200miles, so what goes around comes around my opinion.
That's where your dead wrong. Lots do. Lots have. It's no advantage to test 160 mile away 10 days out. Had you watched the videos you would know this. Lots of the rules get broken weekly. We just don't call the petty shit. Last year I let a racer slide who was under weight but I broke and couldn't make the full pass. I could have easily said too bad. But I don't like to win like that. That however may not ever be the same now
Jim Howe everyone knows your the guy who calls everyone out on breaking the rules. Your known for that for a reason, just accept it and don’t get upset when your called out for breaking one. Even if it didn’t really give u any advantage.

I mean how can you say you try to teach your kids to do the right thing but get all salty and bring Jeff’s name up because he called you out on doing the wrong thing? Even if you didn’t mean to break the rules, and I don’t think you purposely did that , sounded like you were doing some crying over you doing something wrong and blaming someone else for catching you doing the wrong thing. Am I missing something? I believe Jeff even said there were others who wanted to protest it as well. You should've known Lutz wasn't gonna take that he knows your car is faster and he's been struggling with his car like he almost always does yea he's fast but he sure struggles a lot to compete
As Jim said, he theoriized it is to not steel the thunder of the main event. But over a week away from said event? Why not make it 10,000 miles and within the same year? Why not ban anyone from thinking of racing on the same planet within the last 10,000 years? Change the rules. Couple things i was curious about. Is his cars name ( Gaurdian ) purposely spelt wrong? I always thought "Guardian" was the correct way to spell that. Also, I've heard him refer to Kentucky as his home town track. Isn't Jim from Michigan? Making US131 in Martin, MI or Milan Dragway his home track??

This wasn't Jeff Lutz fault... Jim and Jimmy Taylor practiced together too close to an event.. Jimmy Taylor told on himself and got dq'd himself, jim tried to go race and got protested. Shouts out to Jimmy Taylor for taking it on the chin and not fussing about it on every social media he has.
Does the car or driver apply to that? Because why can't they test the car with a different driver or test a non npk car and get data? Just a lame rule...
