@@carriemccurley-th8gn yeah I'm 46 years old now. I didn't tell the school counselor because I thought I would be taken from my parents by child protective services. I thought my biological father would be found and I would be forced to live with him. I haven't seen him since I was 2 years old. Also I just wanted to keep peace in the family. I realized God would deal with them.
I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Heaven came through for me. Now i have a home a husband and a lovely year old daughter (Zoa), and a stream of income that get me $25,000 monthly. I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough!
Only God knows how much grateful i am. After so much struggles I now own a new house and my family is happy once again everything is finally falling into place
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Mary Margaret Schimweg) so many people have recommended highly about her😊 and am just starting with her Brisbane Australia🇭🇲
@@outlawbillionairez9780 It is not the religion that is wrong, but the people who practice that religion are wrong. God's 10 commandments to mankind. Remember, Jesus was once tempted by the devil, the church must always be included in the church
They do support abuse. I was spiritually abused by them. I’ve been there since 2006. The abuse is very damaging. It is a church failure. I cannot understand how they say they are about ppl and treat some the way they do. I’ve never done anything wrong. Some of the women leaders there spread horrible slanderous lies about me, told me to leave, called the cops for no reason. Time went on…I went back 5 months later….to be issued a criminal trespass warning. The cops seem embarrassed when they talk to me. They are just doing their job....these ppl are hiding more I guess. I am for Jesus Christ. I have never caused a scene or anything at Gateway. What is going on at this church? The police said if I was wearing a blue shirt and Gateway did not like my blue shirt, they could ban me line they did. Nobody responds to my pleas. An angry lady pastor also had my calls blocked so O could not call and ask why and sort this out as the Bible states. O was not told the lies floating around…another girl called to ask why I was kicked out. That is how I found out what slander was being said and it is bad slander. Very bad. The lady pastors started this for a reason I do not know. For the record, not one man from Gateway church can say I have ever flirted, dated or had anything to do with him in a relational type of way. That is what lies they started about me. What is going on here at Gateway. Jesus is returning soon. This whole church will have some explaining to do. Wake up Gateway church. I forgave, but this is my Gateway story. I have the opportunity for it to change since before Nov. 2023. They did not return calls emails or texts. Thank you for the abuse Gateway leaders. I matter. If you say you represent Christ, represent. I know now I am not the only one similar things happen to others.
When you start pointing out faults, failures or mistakes and start questioning the BIG BUSINESS and their reputations are on the line then you are creating problems for them. You can be a member as long as you do as they say. Once you step away and realize this has nothing to do with you and Gods relationship and don’t need to be in an organized group mentality….. it’s freedom. They will answer someday just like we all will.
You can’t blame an entire church family for the sin and crime of one man. They are family that has been hurt. They come together to console and comfort each other as they grieve. 🙏
@@uofa82I’m sorry but if u associate urself with people like that which includes still going to the church instead of finding a new one cause I’m sure they can allll go to a new one! Or better yet have church at someone’s house too! It makes them horrible to cause why are y still choosing to associate urself with someone and a building run by someone that ruined someone’s life like that?
@@zoe-lj2lr Is that how you would treat your entire family if one of them committed a crime? Just leave them. Never associate with the innocent ones? Leave them all alone to deal with their pain all by themselves? How cold-hearted!
People can never believe that someone like him “In Gods House” could do this…… it happens everywhere, everyday in churches. People put way too much Faith in the Church and Men than in their actual beliefs in God. The Church can’t get you to Heaven…….
What people are upset about is the way churches cover it up and act above the law. If you are not upset about injustice, test yourself to see if you're in the faith because the fear of the Lord is hatred of evil.
@@stephm5877 Of course they are upset that these churches cover it up…..these churches bring in big money and are big business. They are protecting themselves in the name of Jesus…… these leaders aren’t stupid but will answer one day.
Would it be Biblical to pray in this situation for these pedifiles and fornicators in leadership in so called Christian Churches to be turned over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh.
Please if any are in leadership positions within churches and doing this with children, step down. And if any are going into the ministry, with this type of sin, please don't. I'm not sure how this man continued to lead and profit from his flock year after year knowing he did this to his own.
@@LoveHisappearing Most people in power or leadership have egos and with preachers there’s a lot of narcissistic behavior…… you’re speaking “The Word” and people hold you to a higher standard. People become blind in faith. There’s a lot of power in positions like that. Lots of self righteousness.
Me too. Started a non-profit recently with degreed professionals backing me. It's another dire pain stab in my soul whenever another child is sexually abused 💔.
I'm from this part of Texas and my father was an extremely abusive pastor. The congregation knew and egged him on out of hero worship. A sign saying protect kids from pastors is something I never thought live to see.
The sad part is that , this is not the only case ! There’s more, but it’s been covered up! These women who spoke out are Heroes!!!!! And those covering it up are Cowards!

Once the Boston Globe put the Spotlight on the Catholic priests , the church lost 10 million parishioners a year. It was gradual , it took time to sink in. This church will lose people once this all sinks in...
Once the Boston Globe put the spotlight on the Catholic Priests 10 million parishioners a year left the church. It took time for it to sink in, and it will take time for this to sink in. However, gateway will lose parishioners eventually.
Very few have left YET. It takes time, but within a year or two they'll likely lose close to half their membership. That's what happened at Hillsong Church, a similar megachurch with a similar abuse crisis. Within a couple of years they went from 16 campuses down to 9.
O my gosh ! Here it comes. The Spirit of Persecution of the church.. Starting with the ministers. Of course if you bring down the pastor, you, of course, will bring down the church. God be with us all🙏❤️
Gateway apparently is completely separating themselves from the Morris family and doing a legal investigation as well as offering counseling to any of us who were impacted, like members who went there for this level of abuse.

I have some questions. Please remember this twelve year old was in seventh grade in the 80’s. Please don’t tell me she didn’t understand sexuality. That going into a man’s bedroom in your pj’s was wrong. Going with him at 15 for car rides was wrong. Morris should have been arrested, why didn’t her father support her? When he saw the church did nothing he had plenty of time to file charges. Why didn’t he? She says there are other girls out there that he did things to. If her father had done the correct thing that would not have been possible. Now she is throwing down after 30+ years. Morris should be ashamed but so should her father.
Morris was a spiritual advisor to thousands, thousands, that us what makes him so dangerous. It is incongruent with intelligence to have tunnel vision on this subject.
And you self righteous types , with your prison mentality, what's in your moral, spiritual closets? He that is without sin ( at all) cast the first stone! What , no takers of the offer? For your own moral, and spiritual safety, remember what the Savior, Redeemer, and Lord of all" the measure we judge others, will be right back our way, in just that same harshness it's delivered in! This is an appeal of love we all desperately need to heed, for our own welfare, and God's honor, and glory, and the good of all in need, of all parties involved!
This came out when she was 16. She told her father. He’s the one who should have taken it to the authorities right then. But he chose to deal with it through the church and it got covered up. She’s been speaking up about it all along. The elders are culpable.
