Simple to point out. The people of Kashmir didn't wanted to join India. India dealt with it undemocraticly. Ignoring the will of the people. That clearly states altogether, Kashmir hasn't been solved yet. It needs to be resolved by the will of the people. Till then it's in the UN zone both IOK & POK. Until justice is done with the people of Kashmir democratically , sad to say a lot of resources will go in war. You can administer the country well and then make Pakistan union like structure when things are in control (just like European union).
We in ASEAN would like to see India and Pakistan work out a solution on the Kashmir issue. There are calls within ASEAN for India to be excluded from RCEP especially Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Myanmar
