Protests & Speeches Erupt After Tommy Robinson Arrested on Terrorism Charges 

🔴On 27th July in Trafalgar Square, a film was allegedly shown to a crowd in breach of a High Court order. The anti-extremism campaign group 'Hope Not Hate' stated on Saturday that Tommy Robinson "could face jail" after reportedly screening the documentary "Silenced" at the demonstration. The film repeats false claims he made about a Syrian refugee, which led to him losing a libel case in 2021. Robinson was arrested the following morning (today, July 28) under anti-terror laws.. This was why his supporters went to Scotland Yard and Downing Street to demand his immediate release.👍 UPDATES: The matter being heard is regarding a committal application for contempt of court arising from libel proceedings first heard in 2019 and brought on behalf of a Huddersfield schoolboy (at the time), Jamal Hijazi. Reports suggests, Tommy was reminded of Monday's hearing before being released on unconditional bail at 10pm on Sunday, but that it is now believed he 'left the UK last night. A warrant has been made for his arrest after he did not attend the hearing, but ordered that it not be carried out until October to allow him time to attend the next hearing voluntarily or to apply to set aside the warrant.
