Belfast, UK, punk pioneers Protex live at the Comet, March 6, 2024. Inspired by the Clash, Protex formed in 1978 during the first wave of Belfast punk rock bands. They took the name "Protex Blue" from the eponymous first Clash release, and later shortened it to "Protex". The band went dormant for a while, then reunited in 2010, performing live and recording new material!
