I Deleted mine completely and replaced with unit for Hose fitting and replaced all hard lines with Flex hose and also installed a External cooling unit with a 12 v dc fan and installed it not in front of the Radiator but under the floor of the drivers side and then ran the flex house to the Radiator and back with same Connector and Flex hose back to the Automatic . I hate the quick disconnects and will never use them ever again. Jeep runs 15 Degrees cooler and gear shifting is normal.
Thanks for making this video! I learned so much from watching it. I have never seen how the components of a hatch back lock work or how you put a taillight in. It's fascinating how you expertly try out different solutions to the problems. Glad you are able to still get 30 year old parts online. I hope Jeepy can ride on the road forever! Jeepy is the coolest car I have ever seen since Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
I have a similar situation on my 1990 XJ. But just cut off the swaged part and clamp on a fresh section of rubber tubing. I don't have to mess with the troublesome fitting back at the transmission.
I first caught the Goons in a parking lot gig in Springfield Va on 7/13/1996. Princessed played their first show. Positive State was there. Of all my time, in my era, The Goons and Lickity Split were the finest bands of my day.
The Goons ROCK! Thank you for everything you are doing to help bring awareness to suicide prevention and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. LOVE this band!
Excellent fix! Fascinating information about the Fleet vehicle (white paint underneath) and how to get the right part. Glad Laminate is back on tour in their newly repaired 1992 Ford E250 XLT!
A beautiful story about your father-in-law (the machinist on a ship). A gear on the ship lost some teeth and the crew couldn't navigate back into the port. So he welded a bead where the missing gear teeth were. He filed the gear teeth and reinstalled it so the crew could get safely back into the port.
GREAT video! AWESOME band! Just bought Goetia's album on Bandcamp. Hope to catch them in concert if they tour where I live. After the epic drum section (19:07) the crowd was going so wild - it was like the Roman Empire!
