It's a killer. If I'm feeling good and this comes on Spotify rotation I have to skip it. If I'm sad I look for it.

I saw shame open for protomartyr, and I loved the show but when Casey got up there he groaned out a remark about how it should be shame headlining and he almost seemed to mean it. It was kind of a messy uneven show from protomartyr but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because the sound guy at the venue in question is fuckin' awful.

Recording and live are so different. You can sit down recording have as many takes as you want. Most bands I've played with hate recording as it can be very clinical, red light syndrome ect Live he's moving around a lot and is probably getting the feel of the song rather than hitting every exact note. Seeing them soon in Ireland can't wait, love this song especially.

I’ve seen the first season but i never knew they featured a Protomartyr song in season 2. I actually discovered this band because their song “My Children” was featured in the first season of Netflix’s “The Rain” series.
