My inbox and comment section is filled with queries about Proton SAGA so I decided to share my thoughts after completing 1000kms. This is not my final verdict but rather just my observations so far. Hope you like it.
Both hard and soft suspension have their pros and cons. Soft suspension allows the car to travel downward further when it hits a bump, so that it better absorbs the bump, but this also means that it has more chances of hitting its underside on the road/rocks. Hard suspension travels less so it absorbs the bump less, but it also then has less chances of hitting the underside of the car.
I love watching your vlogs because it gives me a perspective on pakistani life from the point of view of someone who has spent time abroad. We live in the U.K. and anmre considering moving to Pakistan in the near future.
Excellent, detailed review. You might want to check with Filter House and get that AC filter asap to prevent any further deposits from reaching the evaporator, besides they need changing depending on how often you switch to fresh air mode so the one you will get from Proton wont go to waste. Good luck bud and keep em rolling!
A balanced review. I hope you get the N95 filter soon. It's been more than 40 days. Now since I requested for replacement. Al-Haj never disappoints in lying to their customers. I have visited the Islamabad dealership three times and every time they ask for one week. After driving for almost 8k,ki have found the fuel average to be 11.5km/L in city (with AC) and 16 km/L on motorway. The car lags in performance in hilly areas and while going downhill, we need to rely mostly on brakes.
Salam. Owais Bahi, I received my Saga Ace right around when you did. Got coated at Sparco (Ghufran bahi) as well and thanks to you got some discount as well though I have some complaints. My observation: Ride stability, Grip and pleasure is 100% legit. Paint issues exist. The noise is tyre noise as Atlas tyres do have complaints even in Malaysia. Otherwise the cabin is super quiet. Mountain climbing is patchy as one needs to build up acceleration but once you have it you can climb steep roads easily. Went to Abbottabad and even did off roading lol for real. Ground clearance is superb. I will share more in comments as mileage is around 820km. JazakAllah
Thanks Owais on your fair analysis of Proton Saga Ace variant. I agree with you that it is too early to give final say on this product as it takes about 4000 to 5000 kms for a new engine to run efficiently. Anxiously awaiting your Proton Saga Ace final analysis after you cross 5000 kms. Regarding your accelerator pedal vibration, have you complained to Proton dealership? What was their response?
Thanks for sharing another informative video... In my opinion, it was a good idea to make a casual motovlog instead of a detailed review, as it was better to get a real time experience of your car while you drive it. Till now, as per your comments and watching you drive the car, I am getting a feel that this car has more pros than cons and it certainly is a good car in it's price bracket... And yes, you got it right that this is a good product by Proton but launched by a company in Pakistan who's not gonna do justice with it and the customers as well... Keep up the good work 👍🏼
1:01 Ma Shaa Allah you are an honest person this is the reason we all are waiting for your review... باقی اس اثناء میں تو۔۔۔ ہم سائیکل بھی نہیں خرید سکتے مگر فارغ بیٹھا تھا تو میں نے سوچا چلو گاڑی کی review دیکھ لیتا ہو۔ 😁
He is providing far more better & beneficial content for his audience than all other youtubers doing in Pakistan specially will talk about the likes of Ducky,Sunny,Sham Idrees etc. (having millions of views) I hope people try to focus their shift & learn things instead of just entertaint & time wasting ...
Take care bro, at times you had both hands off the steering. Probably it's better to have other passengers who can also help in keeping an eye on human distraction factor. Nice and detailed review though.
once again thank you for sharing real-time experience. It’s always great to have such unbiased opinion. Further Awaiting fuel average videos. Allah bless you with success Ameen.
you are right about wrong owners in Pakistan..i mean AlHaj... i have Faw v2 imported(Chinese version). They launched Pakistan assembled version. in just 1 year they discontinued. That was rediculous. Then dealership left us behind in after sales and service... similarly it is very bad response for proton from Alhaj....
I like your videos, but abhi ek massomana sawal hai. Drive mode mia dal k kon pahari par chalata hai automatic cars ko bhaii jaan!!!? I am shocked! L or 2 is for heavy lifting in these cars. Put the car in 2 and it goes uphill very good and put car in L and it can climb the straight mountain. Rahi bat laggy engine ki, new cars mai jo computer hai wo dekhta hia k how much you are pressing the accelerator if the computer detects an emergency(to trigger emergency put car in the drive go in normal speed and suddenly 200% press the accelerator and car will shift down and move u out of emergency), it'll put the car in overdrive mode ASAP, but in all other cases as long as you are in D mode, it'll always lag to save fuel and life. Thanks for making this, nice review.
I had this knocking problem too when I was living in Karachi . You have to use high octane all the time. In Pakistan high octane is regular. Regular gas is full of garbage.
I think is gari ma acceleration wire ma issue ha.because ap jo race and vibration issue bata r hain.both are related to acceleration wire.kindly ckeck it.
This video is 7 months old. Now what is your observation. Do you still stick to your verdict of your video or do you think you have a second thought about it.
Owais bhai....just a question...with you being so thorough...how come you didnt check the air filter while taking delivery? You had a check list with you.
Bhai he Specifically Told you about everything related to Fuel Average, That it requires its Whole Separate Video. and that He's Deliberately Holding off info on this Topic until he drives this car to about 2500kms or More but phir bhi ap log Fuel Average pooch rahe ho. Not Cool!
i think you are driving automatic transmission variant of proton saga .. i am living in kuala Lumpur Malaysia ... i am driving proton saga manual ... its much more better in engine response
Alhaj treating Proton like they did with FAW. They have a Company that doesn't have that Chinese Repute with it, is know to be reliable, have heard alot about its Drive Quality. Master Motor deserves appreciation , It Made a Chinese Brand like Changan go head to head against the Koreans and Japanese.
What is your cal fuel average? (Calculated manually) My car/ Saga Ace variant gives a manual average of hardly 10 km/L or sometimes 12 km/L on a mixed type of route while the meter shows 5.5 - 6.5 L/100 Km (15 - 18 km/L). Please share your recent calculation.
The average shown in meter isn’t trustworthy. It was showing around 200km of distance to end while on hardly 2 bars of fuel. Ab itni lut to nahi machi kai aqua jaisi avg dai yeh 😂
@@syedowaisali thank you kindly never never leave your hands while driving very dangerous thing to do anything can happen especially a tyre can blow up at speeds
YT gives you an Option to watch the video at @2x speed if you so Desire. that way you can cut the time in Half and for any one else who Enjoys his long form Explainer Videos also gets satisfied. Problem Solved
