Prototype - Game End - Final Boss - Supreme Hunter Round Two 

It's ironic how the blacklight virus version of "Mercer" itself ended up being more human than the real Alex Mercer ever was.

I don't think its too late to say it. This is hands down the best and most aware game play I have ever seen. People barely notice running is much faster than flying (if you have to go straight); but you Perfectly knew it and used all the best possible ways there is. Really loved it and if time allows I would see all your Prototype and other videos (even if I have completed the game already).

I can't kill this monster when i was young but as i grew older,the enemies in this game became my toy

For a fleshthing that has just been born recently it comes up with real big brain ideas and deceptions.

If anyone sees this in the future and is replaying this game or playing it for the first time and you're having a hard time fighting this boss, just spam air critical pain devastator cause it does a lot of damage to the supreme leader and you're in the air so its hard for him to hit you

The ending could've been much better. But oh no, not for Alex Mercer...

Tip From DeathCrow: When Supreme Hunter got stunned, equip Whipfist and use charged Street Sweeper on him, cuz the more hitbox they are, the more damage the Street Sweeper do.

So are we gonna ignore the fact the supreme hunter was so intelligent that he was able to disguise himself and hide his identity from Mercer

What most people don't get is that the Huge Blade weapon thing that Mercer used to pound on the Supreme Leader is actually OP as hell. It has a final upgrade that allows you to slice down hunters and hunters and cause serious damage from the air, you basically slice em down from the Air. It one-shots normal hunters, and tanks and does massive damage to bosses and tougher enemies. It's even more powerful than the Hammer Hands and you could easily take down the Supreme Hunter with it instead of running around throwing missiles at it.

This guy literally survived a nuke. Now that's badass!

Everyone: Spam throwing things at Big mutated guy or spam Critical Pain Meanwhile DeathCrow: Drive a helicopter and use the spinning blades and deals a shirt ton of damage

Prototype is basically an actionized version of The Thing.

Best tactic i found was rocket launcher + throwable objects use the launch when he's chasing you to stun him takes about 5 shots in normal difficulty then when he does that devastating attack throw objects at him

I tried without the muscle mass upgrades and viola instant regret. took me like an hour to whittle down his health to the point where the soldiers would leave and then i'd lose because i couldn't kill him fast enough. Whats worse is that once you start that mission you can't quit it so if you don't have the EP to buy those upgrades you're screwed

I'm not too sure about this but I think the easiest way to kill him is just use the whip fist and then I think you have to hit him multiple times in his chest and then sometimes he'll be stunned so you can grab them and do damage. Edit: I am completely wrong just search up a guide on it and you'll see I'm wrong apparently you have to do something along the lines of getting as much Health as you can equipping the heavy armor and blade and basically just attack him with the blade to stun him and use the critical pain Devastator REALLY up close to do a lot of damage.

I completed this game today.This game is truly a masterpiece

I'm trying to do this on hard and it is insane. I can't finish him off in 2 mins. I barely do any damage to his hp and 2 hits from him is instant death

So wait then what was the beginning of the game all about where he had all the powers and was fighting the military and the monsters I don't get it or do I have to finish the all the left over missions to get to that point?

This is what should've been the battle between mercer and heller. No tutorials no guides and adding an insane difficulty

What I love about this mission is at times you can see even Blackwatch and the Marines are working together with Alex to defeat the Supreme Hunter. it's funny to me lol then you get close and they shoot you again 😂

And yet heller beat him fucking HOW

i was stuck at hard mode mode but by this method i defeated that bloody monster in literally 10 min legit 100 percent trick

So a fight where they force you to chip at the enemy to death and then add a fucking timer at the end. Nice

Such an epic and cool fight completely ruined by the timer. It would be an awesome sequence of using all you abilities to fight it. But they had to ruin it by a timer to find ways to cheese it. 😢

Well I've played this game after prototype 2 .At every moment of playing this game I was telling Alex why are you trying so hard man you will die in the next game😂😂😂

Just played this particular boss fight last night. I played Prototype 12 years ago but I didn't even reach Elizabeth Greene, so it's my first time doing that. I fought that shit for like 7 times. My strategy was really weird. On my first few tries, I tried manhandling him with brute force (e.g. just slicing away like a berserker) and it did me no good. Cross can tear up 25% of the health bar in one claw swipe. Worse, he can even do his own devastator attacks so head on fighting is a no-no. I used the devastators to win this fight. Since I'm not at full health, I have to eat a few soldiers to get that blue bar, but Cross will make sure you won't eat in peace. So I had to run around while eating. After securing a safe spot, I unleashed a tendril barrage which stunned Cross. Now, you can grab and ride Cross while slicing away at him. He will eventually throw you out so you can't really do this in quick successions. Eat-Dodge-Tendril-Grab-Attack, that was the combination I used. It was a lenghty fight but it worked. Blade or Claw power is I think the best for this because Cross is still a Hunter, so these are his weaknesses. I also don't recommend using the full body biomass armor as it will slow you down and you will still get killed by Cross' tendril barrage.

You need that fucking musclemass boost to do this on hard, holy shit
