Natu natu is successful because of its choreography, we should appreciate choreographer for making this song so beautiful with dance moves ,big round of applause for choreographer 🎉🎉🎉
this is some of the most energetic choreos ive ever seen, its amazing how they did this live on stage without any mistakes, proud of rrr for winning the oscar!!
As an Asian-American (East Asian) who grew up seeing mostly comedic stereotypes and orientialism in media, I'm so happy that media from Asia is getting Hollywood recognition and breaking Asian stereotypes. I'm also so glad that people are realizing that 'Asian' doesn't just equal 'Chinese'.. I'm not Indian but this literally brings me to tears. It's long deserved!
❤....but its very rare that world or other Asian countries see us Indians as a part of Asia ..in West and Europe India has seperate independent identity ( in a positive way )and even other Asian don't consider us it's part whenever they talk about Asia it is all about east Asia only ...but whatever you said is true .
Really Oscar academy missed so many indian master pieces like this for all these days. Thank you to RRR team for discovering Indian talent to the world, and for making us proud .
I don’t think it was all deliberate. I think the Academy is keeping more of an open mind to nominating foreign language films in big categories. You look at All Quiet On The Western Front this year, or the big wins for Parasite a few years ago. But before you can get an Oscar, you need to be nominated one, and that’s where studios and distributors come in. They spend money targeting Academy members with advertising, events, interviews. Most Indian films that are Oscar-eligible don’t have American distributors with the resources or interest (either on their part or their Indian partners, don’t know) to mount a campaign. RRR was lucky to wind up with Variance Films as the theatrical distributor. In 2022, they bagged nominations for best picture, director and adapted screenplay for the Japanese film Drive My Car, and the film won for best international feature. They got Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Jr NTR on American media, red carpets and all that. Rajamouli was on a major late night show. Ram Charan and his wife stuck around for personal reasons and he was everywhere doing interviews. However, and I saw A.R. Rahman touch on this recently, there are still prejudices and biases in Hollywood. It can be insular. It can also be difficult, I think, to give them a movie that’s difficult to put in western boxes. All Quiet is understood as a war film. Parasite is understood as a film about class disparities. RRR is understood as anti-colonialist and a fiery action film.
Do you really think this song deserves an Oscar? This is just a generic kuthu song. It's not bad but it's not the best that Indian cinema can offer. There are better naatu/kuthu songs in other movies, more energetic, better rhythm etc. It's not even the best song in 2022. This movie somehow gained international recognition so they had to give it some award. They chose the "original song" category as a mostly inoffensive way to do it. Other movies are not going to fight for that category.
@@CHANDAN_LIFESTYLE_ just because we are proud of India ... that doest mean we shouldn't be proud of our native languages..... atleast we southern ppl appreciate a good song weather it is from bollywood or tollywood or kollywood or any other wood.... unlike bollywood ppl who didn't even consider southern movies any good till bahubali and accepted southern movies because of movies like KGF, RRR etc... please hide ur jealousy it doesn't look good.
Bollywood wala he kya thu... yes we are Indians and proud to be Indian but more proud as our TELUGU no no GREAT TELUGU LANGUAGE song is being played on oscar stage.... if it is an hindi song all dumbs call it as Bollywood songs not indian song... we have learnt this from North nibbas
Must also congratulate the choreographer for the beautiful way he has choreographed this song & the dancers a Great job. We are very very proud of you all.
I feel robbed that before a month ago I hadn't heard of this composer, and he is easily up there with John Williams and Hans Zimmer, his Baahuballi score and RRR are masterpieces
Junaid we are all one and equal bro Some dogs have created difference between us and they are continuously doing it even now Don't consider them Love from India
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥳🥳🥳🥳🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’m Black American. But, I’m proud and it makes me smile to see others represented and reading comments about the pride they share! Love everyone. Respect everyone.
I love this, I hope it's indicative of a new direction for the Oscars, because the Oscars is something I don't care about at all, but I'm still watching this. Hollywood isn't the only place that makes movies, I'd love to see more representation of film greatness from other countries. Of course I can go watch them myself but they deserve recognition too.
Proud to see India shining through Tollywood! A movie that portraits India to its best glory as much as possible and not stereotyping India as how liberals and west wish to see is wining awards in global stages with a proud Indian nationalist movie theme is something to be proud of!
The choreography of this song is crazy! The amount of coordination needed is insane. Individual + Team Coordination. Huge respect to everyone behind the song.
That was the greatest! They came out there and danced him off the stage. 😂 The song and performance by them later in the show was so neat and I liked it so much!
I love Indian cinema because of their authentic and natural take on feelings and comedy. There's hundreds of amazing talent and cinema in India but this was something epic and expected from the amazingly talented S S Rajamouli and Keeravani.... I loved Baahubali and considered it the GOAT in India but now, RRR has nearly taken that crown. This Is Cinema and I can't wait for their next epic tale. Sending all our love from Tanzina, East Africa. 🇹🇿
what a moment... i just had tears flowing.... and those dancers.... it was once in a life moment.... very overwhelming.... not sure how the makers felt.... life's purpose fulfilled.
Telugu rocks.. Meaning of this song nicely epitomises the roots and culture of Telangana.. Poleramma jaathara, the village deity, Potharaju bonalu signified, *Erra Jonna rotte lona Mirapa thokku petti nattu* Flatbread made with sorghum or a Jowar with Mirapa thokku which is Red 🍒 Chilli pickle, Wow I am a Telanganite I'm blessed to be born in Bharat.
performaning such an act in front of 1000’s of celebrities across the globe is awesome…i must appreciate the effort put on by the two main male leads…flawless and tremendous performance…i was seeing ramcharan and ntr in them….excellent and marvellous…actually i don’t find words to describe their performance…
@@Naveentanwar1122yeah, as a north indian, i agree with you. In my house, we personally don't watch anything related to bollywood, it's cringe, repetitive, stupid and mostly they make movies against our culture, so my family has boycotted them from long ago. I don't watch mainstream bollywood blockbusters movies. I think south indian movies are much better and we have watched it for many years, before even bahubali came.
