I miss him and wish I could talk to him and as I was staring at the sky saying I hope he is proud of me, this song came on and I cried more. Recently lost my son, May 3rd 2023 in his sleep. He would have turned 5 months old on May 3rd. I have two beautiful girls (3 & 5 years old) and I have been fighting a battle with DHS and the grossly contorted system that is set up in a way that encourages parent to give up. Well Huddy boy you saved mommy’s life and brought our family back together. You gave me joy and hope in a desolate and hopeless place in my life. You gave me a reason to keep fighting even when everything seemed impossible. My soul screams aches of despair without you here. Some days it’s like the waves take me to the bottom of the oceans. Other days seem semi- manageable. Regardless of what is going on and how heavily the enemy has been attacking me, mommy is not giving up. Mommy will honor your life by living mine to bring God all of the glory. I will hold tight to your reminders of joy & glimpses of hope. I will not give up Huddy. I promise you that mommy will never quit fighting. I promise you and myself that I will get our girls back at home. I had bad anxiety, depression and sadness, Im not religious, yet I believed in my personal relationship with God, and we made it through our storm. He will be 10 this year. Now, every time I think of my brother, I smile, hug my sun, and say thank you for saving my brother within you. My sun asked me one day, when did you find out I was your brother. His due date wasmid-Aprill, he was born 13 days before my brothers birthday. Everything happens for a reason, and the purpose is in the playout. I pray you healing light ❤️
I feel so sorry for you, losing your child is the worst thing ever. My best friend lost her daughter in December 2022. She was sixteen months old. I was there in the hospital. It broke me. My own son has a mental disorder and he has autism. This song gives me strength thinking about both of them. He doesn’t live with me anymore. He lives with kids like him. I’m so proud of him. He’s in good spirit, but i miss him so much, even tough I couldn’t handle the situation anymore, his daddy unfortunately has issues. I miss him with all of my heart. I had a hard time letting him go, and i still do. But he’s thriving. Your child is in heaven. This was not supposed to happen to you. Unfortunately it did. Daily walk with their heads down with your thoughts racing with negativity thinking you ain’t gonna amount to nothing. For the ones we prayed for to see another. Even though they are not with me now doesn't mean they won't be in the future. Ive already failed my kids in bringing them home im not going to fail them in falling back and doing nothing with my life. Im now doing van life working as a training waitress moving herself up to management in a few months. Im going to buy this land and build my home from the ground up. I was taken from my mom at age 5 by relatives who couldn't have kids of their own, from 5 to 13years old I was physically abused & beaten, then 13 years old child protection got involved, then 6 different foster homes later met my ex, first 2 years were ok then got violent & i ended up physically abused by him for 12 years & while pregnant then met my now husband & for the last few years he's been picking up the pieces of me & putting me back together as I battle severe depression & anxiety, he introduced me to this incredible song & said how much he's proud of me...the 1st & only person to say those words to me so THIS HITS DIFFERENT!!!
