People need to know a 100 miles away from home, railway system, warehouses, gas supplies etc. retired truck driver ( old school driver) I remember most places I been and I learned where the supply chain routes are

I live on the east coast of Florida and have since 95. People around here have gotten dumber year after year and they do not think about preparing till last minute and then everything is out of stock. No like minded people near me that I have met and so I have decided to go into northern Florida as it will be safer than being on the coastline. I purchased the book solely on the basis of who you are and what this channel does for the community. Stay safe and stay stoked.

Physical library, key ingredient. Skills between wife and I, gardening, fishing, shooting, cooking, baking, fermenting, food storage, kitchen management, herbal lore, chemical engineering, project management, bicycle repair, some carpentry, some roofing, some electrical, tool sharpening, firearms maintenance, reloading, some sewing, former EMT, both have been in teaching and made curricula, both are musicians and artists in stone. Our home library includes a lot of how to, very little military. Creating ways to mitigate risks. We've cleared trees around our house (midwest, northern tornado alley) getting regular exercise, gardening, cycle through the preps, hardware, food, books.

Bugged out in 2020. We are hours away from large population areas. Off-grid living. Nearest town on 20 minutes away. Nearest neighbor ¼ away (and like minded).

I just ordered the book! I'm a long-time resident of the Texas Gulf Coast, you are so right, lots of folks fail to prepare until the very last minute. It blows me away how unprepared so many folks are! It's not like anyone expects them to prepare for zombies or an alien invasion. We have been hit multiple times by tropical storms, regular storms, ice storms, and brown outs. It WILL happen again. There is no question that sooner or later we will have another storm. If you are prepared for a 3-to-5-day outage at a minimum, you are well prepared for a lot of what can go wrong. Obviously, longer is better. Each storm or "event" we have, I make a list of what I was glad to have and what I wished that I had actually had on hand. Then later, I get that stuff as time and budget allows. Even preparing a little beats doing nothing over and over. My wife thought I was a little over the top before Harvey and Uri. I was also pretty well set for the blackouts last year, and the recent windstorm last month. Now when I want to buy some kind of esoteric gear, or another bag of rice, she is totally onboard!

Cheers for the vid. 👍The very first thing you need to do is to hide and bury NOW all your preps and supplies. Tell absolutely NO ONE about your prepping. When everything goes to s#$t, the last thing you need are looser ex friends and relatives from turning up and remembering you as the “prepared” person. Good luck guys… OPSEC 👍

I livex on the coast south east of Mobile, Al. We knew it was coming, but why leave and travel 300 miles north, andyank the family up if it could turn at the last minute and go west or east. We waited until it was an hour away and retreated north by hidden routes.

I disagree with your statement about us not having a common understanding of who we are. WE are The United States of America composed of Native Americans and People from other countries who sacrificed much to be Citizens of this great Nation of opportunity and Freedom. WE can be as smart as WE want to be or as stupid as WE want to be, or as rich or poor as WE want to be. WE choose our fate and not have a tyrant dictate it. That Freedom is our defining trait which makes many other country’s leaders resent US, and simultaneously inspires their people have something better like what WE enjoy. But I agree with your proponency of being ready for a variety of hazards whether Natural or Man-made.

Well my man that's Florida if somebody shoots a brightly colored Arrow up in the air or meteors coming down you don't want to take your eyes off of it until you know where it's going to Landing that's why people wait usually at the last minute because you don't want to flee and the hurricane take a quick left or right and you run directly into the middle of it that's why welcome to Florida that's a normal thing and I'll admit there are some people that just don't move at all and yes they are kind of foolish but that's the way life is that explains the majority of it because living my whole life in Florida 95 percent of the Hurricanes miss you they miss me they always Veer off just far enough to where it's just a windy day it's not even destructive every once in awhile want to hit direct and even then it's not all that bad
