I am really enjoying the ride through of this northeastern city, hope to make a trip to the northeast in the near future, looks pretty chill in Providence
Providence, the city of scandalous speed and light camera's, street speed humps, pot hole riddled roads, crack hoods, corrupt politicians, great Italian food and culture and tons of historical significance. Providence has mostly everything, the good the bad and the ugly. Raised in Pawtucket and born in Providence and hung around most of the projects, Harvard, The Ville and Chad Brown where my Dad grew up. Definitely tons of Hispanic residents and cultural history. My family comes from Cape Verde and Portugal and lived throughout the Pawtucket and Providence line for decades. My parents wents to MT. Hope and Central High School in the 70's. The late 80's and 90's is when more Hispanic residents came in and made the city the cultural atmosphere you see today. Definitely a tight nit community and most know what is going on and pick and choose which issue to address rather then being in everyone's business. Providence has a lot of nice apartments with dens and pantries with 3-4 bedrooms hardwood floors and beam style wood work. Especially the east side and Attwells Ave area apartments. Looks can be deceiving from the outside compared to the inside and vise versa. Some houses look old or decrepit from the outside but are gorgeous inside and some that are gorgeous on the outside and a hoarding dreamland inside. You really get it all in Providence believe it or not. I've seen so many talented musicians in those clubs, some still remain and some are gone. My RI brethren will remember JR Fastlane now the Providence Police station 😮 Very small but very prominent city. Like having a 5'-7" 150lb gangster with serious connections and tons of street cred lol. Hope you enjoyed your visit, come back as every day is different in the same areas. Try walking or biking next time and you'll have a different experience. You never know what you'll see, it can go from sleeping to jumping in 2 seconds flat 😅✌🏽🇺🇲

@0:27 Non existing?? It's there, right in your face, everywhere! It's super busy on the road! Go visit (north/west) Europe, there's even less traffic :P
If you like "Hood-storic" neighborhoods you need to go back to Charleston and take the roads less traveled 😂 go to the Westside and Eastside neighborhoods.
