Timber management is one of the most over looked practices to improve your farm for whitetails, turkeys, and other wildlife. Whether you're looking to increase bedding areas, winter food, summer food, daylight activity, or overall wildlife use don't overlook timber management.
In this video we discuss the transition that is occurring on the Keith family farm. This area was once closed canopy forest and is now a much more productive landscape for wildlife, and the land! Managing timber is a must, but knowing how to do so is the issue many of use struggle with.
