Besides those amazing techniques demonstrated by Sensei, I really love Tsukada-san. He has been training with Sensei through many different Katas and many time for each Kata, but every time Sensei give a illustration, he is genuinely excited and surprised as a student learns a new lesson. Feel little bit sorry for him by each time he gets hurt during Taka, but when he stands up from the fall, the smile always blooming on his face.

Much appreciation for Seki Sensei’s kind willingness to share these elegant techniques! As part of our jujutsu training, we engage with small hidden weapons such as suntetsu and “found” weapons and tessen, which I became fascinated with when I trained in Kung fu. Tessen jutsu is really a wonderful practice, precisely because tessen increases leverage and is a beautiful thing for improving kyusho jutsu. Since it’s a tool and weapon one would carry - and is still carried in everyday life, it was and is a great “everyday carry” weapon. I loved the metal balls carried within the knot! A couple of my tessen have sharpened staves and function almost as tanto, but the more hidden element was wonderful to learn about. Thank you again to Seki Sensei and to you, of course! 🥋🙏🥋

Thank you for the video. Seki-sensei showed so many different options. I liked the part, were he disarmed the opponent with a katana with just a tessen, the most. Maybe it's just my sense of justice, but I liked that it would hurt more the more aggressive the opponent is. I hope the test opponent is alright... That looked painful...
