I still waiting to get my prowler. The covid garbage is making selling the corvette a bit tougher. I live on an island 500 feet from the beach so a prowler is a necessity.
I lost one of my Prowler transmission sensors a couple of years after I bought my car. The car went into limp in mode which is about second gear so I was able to drive home being only three miles from home. I changed them in my driveway without jacking up the car and carry spares with me just like you said Pat.
Some Prowler owners have one but I do not, and hadn't thought of it until you mentioned it here. Great, now something else to worry about! Just kidding - I know there is a risk but lots more important things could go wrong so trying not to concern myself too much on things like that...
Ok, you convinced me - I bought a much thicker chain and more secure padlock today. I've used the smaller chain for shorter trips but a more secure one probably would be better for such a long trip.
