This guy dropping old school names from the community that really defined a genre, imo Heather Feather was light years beyond the community and was doing stuff that people are just now starting to do I hope she has has gotten better
@Jay R just from what I had gathered in her comment section she was being harassed by someone on social media and was having mental issues from it and just stopped doin it as a result keep in mind that was years ago 2016 at best probably
@@PerfectlyPop She had a stalker so she went dark on all her socials. It sucks. You could see how much she loved creating and how much she cared about ASMR and exploring what it could be - and some asshole makes it unsafe for her to keep doing it.

I specifically love the transition of whispering further away and then switching to soft speaking right up close to the mic so much! I realized it with Samuel ASMR because he does it mixed in most of his videos, and I've been trying to find other creators who do it too without knowing how to search for it. I'm so glad you popped up in my recommendeds today!

this trigger is what introduced me to your channel! It was a video where you were in a large, red lit room (i think), and you were simply whispering while walking away and towards the mic. It's genius. I've been looking for it in other asmr videos ever since haha
Only just got this video recommended to me but absolutely love it. I listen to old Heather Feather video's and Try ASMR's videos all the time that use the same proximity technique. Listening to the same few videos over and over gets boring after a while, so I'm always very happy whenever I find a new video that uses these techniques.

I personally like the very close-up whispered videos the most, because that's the best way for me to relax. My everyday work at school is often very noisy and exhausting - that's why your videos offer a really good balance for my (sometimes) stressed teacher soul. This reminded me of Maria GentleWhispering's "such a good 3D Sound" video, but one of the best triggers in that was the way she walked around the back of the camera and the mic with her high heels on the wooden floor. Now I know the second part of that may not be your thing, unless you have some formal shoes, but I'd love to hear more people walking all the way around the back in a circle and playing with proximity in this way.
