PRS John Mayer Silver Sky vs. The PRS Fiore | Mark Lettieri Signature Model - Which Sounds Better? 

Would absolutely choose Fiore of these two.

That fiore on clean sounds great I definitely enjoy hearing that overdrive on the silver sky

Not a coil tap. It’s a series parallel push pull.

I definitely prefer the Fiore, warmer and more bite

The truss rod cover on the Silver Sky isn’t actually to be like Fender. It’s actually designed to look like a dogtag as a nod to Heart and Armor that he supports. It’s an organization that works with Veterans with PTSD. Rather cool I think 👍

My first quality guitar was a Strat. I liked it, didn’t love it. I moved to Gibsons and loved them. All were great, but none of them made me want to play every day. I tried PRS, mainly because of their beauty. After sitting with a few, the SE Custom 24 was the one I couldn’t put down. My playing has improved greatly in the year I’ve had it. Thanks for all the great lessons that have helped me and my PRS.

Dude, we have 3 of the same guitars right off the bat. I’ve got a Silver Sky, a Fiore, and a Gretsch 89VS Sparkle Jet as well. I think we both have great taste in guitars 😂

Both of those are on my wish list. 🔥

What model lambertone is in the ss?

I’ve got both (mine is a the red Fiore) and love the, both. However I play the SS much more often.

What about your LSL Saticoy hss? How does it compare to the PRS Guitars?

I bought a silver sky se a couple of months ago and I can’t put it down. I really, really want to play the core version and one of those fiore guitars.

Great review! Beautiful guitars and very well made. The John Mayer one is more of a traditional strat like what you said, but more of an upgrade or on steroids. lol, I do see the John Mayer one as more popular than the Fiore but it all comes down to what someone needs it for and of course, the feel and playability.
