Why are you damning the guitar?

That's classic Gibson. Just put some graphite or nut sauce in there. Or you can take it to a tech and get them to cut the nut properly.

I have a tremonti and it stays in tune for weeks literally,. I play maybe an hour a day and everytime i try to tune it its already in tune

Shouldn't have the same tuning issues, or nearly as bad at least. The tuner placements on Gibson LPs fan out the strings beyond the nut, which puts the most unnecessary tension on the G string out of all of them (being the thinner of two strings at the center of the fretboard), hence it going out of tune the most. If you look at the Tremonti and the Custom 24 models of PRS, you'll see they combated this design flaw by strategically placing their tuners on the headstock in locations so that the strings would align vertically from top to bottom. They still fan out a little bit on the Tremonti, but not nearly as bad.
