I don't know what I'm missing, but I do not hear a difference that would be relevant in any musical context. Must just be a matter of comfort/aesthetics.
Saw this on the PRS forum…nice comparo! The SC seems to have fuller mids. Interesting, I have two 594’s, and both sound thinner than my 245. Part of that may be the pick ups, but not entirely.
Seriously can't hear any difference between the two. I had my mind set on SC but this comparison makes me question again. Thanks for posting this video.
There isn't any tonal difference that can't be attributed to individual guitars sounding different. I got a DC just because it was the one that grabbed me after checking a bunch out. I had no preference going into it :)
To me, they sound very similar. I was wondering if anyone who has both a single cut and a double cut can provide any feedback on playability. For example, does the singlecut make much difference to playability at the higher frets?
@@refvideopro it matters because its clickbait. A review means a REVIEW. You analyse the instrument and go over its quality and specs along with a playthrough. That's what every reputable reviewer does. This clown is just creating clickbait videos that are just simple playing demos. They are not the same and my comment is about the integrity of the title. This title is a lie, end of story. Whether his playing is good or not, dosent change that.
