I've owned both but sold the ZM because I liked the Tremonti neck profile better. Now I wish I would have kept the ZM too!

I have always wanted both of these guitars for years. I have always been a fan of both Tremonti and Myers. I prefer the feel of the Myers but like the tremolo option on the Tremonti. I am predominantly a les paul player which might be why I prefer the Myers slightly as specs are very similar

Myers model has better cleans. Tremonti better high gain. I'll take the tremonti because of the longer scale length and the thin neck shape.

The difference is subtle, but I prefer the Zach Myers. It has a little more warble to its high-end. It seems slightly more articulate/clear as well. Do like that the Temonti has a trem though.

Exactly my thoughts.. More soul on The high end on ZM but no trem.. I never had a guitar with a tremolo.. Not sure why i would need one but always appealing with new tools in the game.

Recently I got mine and Zach Myers sig sounds surprisingly bright. Especially treble pickup can compete with poplar/alder/maple Telecaster in terms of clarity, but neck can get warm and muddy. Since I still have no idea how to use tremolos, this was no brainer.

Had the Zach Myers, and as beautiful looking and tone as it is, just wasnt for me. Ended up trading it for a Tremonti Custom

For me no one wins, both are great and beautiful, it's just a matter of taste preference versus what kind of music you play. I found the Myers tones more scooped while the Tremonti was more focussed on mids. So that the Myers would be better at blues and blues-rock while the Tremonti would better deliver for rock and hard rock. At least imho.

As 21 guns repeats back to back, I feel it gives some emotion to it. The palm mute section at the beginning is nice as well. Great demo. Are the pickups on the Tremonti higher output than the ones on the Myers ?

The Tremonti SE screams so much better... Both are great guitars with great tones, though. You like the more mellow sound - Zach Myers is still the way to go :)

I liked them both but I chose the Tremonti SE and I’m never disappointed 🥂 the Zack Myers SE was a little bit busy and a little bit prissy just a little over the top 🤷🏻‍♀️ sometimes less is more

Well, the ZM looks beautiful, but the Tremonti sounds far far cleaner, the ZM sounds dampened in comparison...but the Tremonti will also expose your errors more!

They literally sound exactly the same. But I vote Tremonti. Zack Myers ruined Shinedown. They have sucked since he became the guitar player. Bring back Jasin Todd!!
