PRS SE Zach Myers - Winter Gear Slam '21 (w/ Zach Myers) 

It's one of the prettiest guitars PRS have ever made. It's just incredible

Never metallurgy got into Shinedown. I have become a fan of Zach through the videos of him promoting this guitar. Humble attitude and genuine character. I like that he wanted to design this for players in general and not just players who want to sound like him.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago, hands down the best guitar for the price I have ever owned in 37 years of playing. Zach demos well showing the cleans to chug (of course he does, it's his design).

3 years on, prs are about to give us Left handed models and I shall be buying it day 1. I think it also makes it the first prs left handed single cut I think.

I love the PRS adjustable stop tail bridge too. Great sound and easy to mute with the heel of your hand.

Great job Zach……I have this and it’s my favorite guitar. Didn’t know you before I bought this, but now I feel a connection. Love the look, feel and tone of this guitar. And an awesome price point!! Thanks for putting so much thought into this.

I've just got this for my 20th birthday and I cannot wait to play it, due to demand I'm on a back order so may not get it for another month or so but it just sounds and looks so fucking good. It's a bit of an upgrade from my SG as well

I love my trampas green with clear headstock. I like the tuner colors but would like locking tuners. You cannot beat the neck for playing. I will be selling a few guitars and moving to a couple of new PRS’s.

I need a twin humbucker guitar to use for a more classic rock kind of sound that can do the LP and a 335 use that isn't too expensive that i don't have to worry about. This seems to fit the bill once i put PAFs in (and that guitar needs covers, it's so nice looking i don't know why they skimped there). The only thing that held me back from these is the short 24.5" scale. My #1 is an EJ Strat and the 1" difference is a big jump. I really like the Chris Robinson singlecut. The PAF bridge and P90 neck pickup is a great combo that i don't know why more manufacturer's do. For that matter i don't know why they still insist on giving humbuckers with sub-8k output coil split instead of partial taps like PRS does. It's literally the same exact circuit mod, but with the coil grounded with a resistor instead of a piece of wire. Even buying a dozen resistors in a retail store like Radio Shack cost like $1.70 or something, i imagine they would cost Gibson or Fender 5¢. For the last few years I've been installing variable resistors with a trimpot instead of a resistor which essentially makes it an internal blender control to set how much of the coil is cut. I don't actually go for singlecoil sounds when i tap my coils, i have them cut off between 25 and 50% of the coil , so it yields like a P90/mini-humbucker/Fralin "Unbucker/Sunbucker" type sound. I repaired guitars out of a shop for over a decade before moving almost exclusively to amps. Id been hooking a variable resistor to Deluxe Reverbs tone stacks where the resistor goes to set the midrange (stock only have Bass/Treble pots) when i mod them for people, so they can find what setting they like, then i use whatever they have it set to and use that resistor value, then remove the trimpot. Why it took me years to think about doing it with the coil tap I'll never know, but it's a REALLY useful mod that i highly recommend. It raises the parts-cost for the partial tap from $1.70 to maybe $5. Well work it.

The sound coming out of this guitar is amazing and having Zach Myers playing it doesn't hurt lol.

Have the Trampas Green and if it wasn't for the short scale, I'd say it's one of the best guitars I've owned. I've got 8 inches on Zach, tho, so can't blame him. Maybe one of his sons will be randomly tall, so Myers Blue can come out in a full scale model ha.
