The first mistake i did when i was a christian is to assume the Bible is a historical book. When you are searching for truth with open minded, i came to realize the Bible contradicts with historical books, and those books in the Bible that used to align with historical books such as the books of Maccabees were removed. I came to realize the Bible is a tool used for control and to divert people from true spirituality. With both truth and lies.
