Shasta viburnum is one of the most attractive viburnums, with a horizontal branching form. While it needs regular inspection for the 4 D's (Dead, Diseased, Damaged, Dysfunctional) It does not need much pruning - except for the occasional thinning for airflow and sunlight into the shrub.
